cmullin Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Do we get Flash Pass for the Six Flags day? I've noticed you guys had them on the Midwest tour; I was wondering if it's the same for WCB. Last year there wasn't Flash Pass, but you didn't need it because you got so many rides during ERT, but if you want to buy it you can. And for buying tickets, if I'm going to buy three tickets but only two of us have Club TPR pass, can we get the Club TPR discount for the third person or not? From the FAQ: Event Rules & Additional Details - - You MUST be a registered member of TPR's Forum or Club TPR to purchase tickets. You must be a member of Club TPR (Paid Subscription: http://www.clubtpr.com) to purchase tickets at the club member rate. Your guests do NOT have to be a member. You may purchase tickets for your guests at the Club TPR member rate as long as you are a Club TPR member. Awesome! Thanks a bunch!
darklingscribe Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 I know the a season passes in the past has been available to purchase at a discount if you showed them your event tickets at guest relations. (Heck last year Knotts gave us a screaming deal by charging $2 upgrade to a 2012 pass) Considering that this is the first West Coast Bash to happen near the end of the parks' season does anybody know if the parks will have the buy a 2014 pass and get the rest of 2013 free deals going or is it still too early?
darklingscribe Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Okay, I guess I'll put an all park Cedar Fair pass on hold until next year.
jasonacosta1 Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 Definitely going to Knott's Berry Farm. SEE YOU THERE!
jbottgen Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Talked with my boss today, and I am now good to go for WCB. Now I just need airfare and room.
JJLehto Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Email confirmation my payment has been recieved, well that's good! Today is pay day so hello rental car and hotel...and bye bye entire pay check
805Andrew Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I got both days cleared off from work. Just bought my WCB tickets for both days. This is my first TPR event. I'm so excited! Wooo!
SingleRiderCam Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Purchased for both days with my dad,I'm so excited now! See you all there.
Sidra Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 That early on Saturday you should be fine. I'd still give yourself 1 1/2 hours just to be on the safe side. Lots of construction going on these days. The only other hotel I'd recommend near Knott's (other than the Radisson) would be the Courtyard Marriott. Also within walking distance and easy access to the freeway. I second that Courtyard recommendation. I stayed there on Saturday night a couple bashes ago. This year though I think I'm changing it up a bit. I'm heading up to SFMM on Friday night from San Diego, ready to sit through nasty LA traffic and just deal with it then. Booked two nights at the Courtyard in Valencia (Fri-Sat). Previous WCB experience is that we get out of the park so late and have to be up so early it really sucks to drive back to OC after SFMM all day and then get up super early on Sunday for KBF. So the thought this year is to still have the room on Saturday, nice air conditioned afternoon nap, or swim in the pool. Go back to the park for night time ERT and then crash there that night, getting to sleep at a decent time and just having to get up early the next day, which I'm fairly used to getting up at 5:30 am for work M-F.
cmullin Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Just bought my ticket to SFMM! So pumped, its going to be an amazing day, just like last year!
Kyle Coleman Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 Dumb question of the day and if it has been mentioned someplace else my apologies, is parking going to be included for morning ert again this year or do we have to pay for it when we get there.
cmullin Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 (edited) Parking was included last year. Saves you $18 if it is! Edited August 19, 2013 by cmullin
Kyle Coleman Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 That's good to hear. Always nice to save a few bucks where I can.
XYZ Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 I paid for my WCB tickets for Knott's. I can't wait to go to my first TPR event. (On a side note, my e-mail saids that I still need to pay for my tickets at store@themeparkreview.com with PayPal and with my order # in the comments, though I already paid for the tickets with PayPal with trips@themeparkreview.com and it is a confirmed order. I'm hoping this is nothing wrong.)
rcdude Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 What time do they open up the parking at SFMM Normally about an hour before the park opens. In past years I've typically arrived about 45 minutes before ERT started and the parking lot has always been open.
805Andrew Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 So parking is included? If so that's so great. IS parking included the Knott's day also? That's less of an issue if its not because I can just be parked at my hotel instead.
jbottgen Posted August 18, 2013 Posted August 18, 2013 In the past, parking was only included at Magic Mountain, not Knotts.
robbalvey Posted August 18, 2013 Author Posted August 18, 2013 So parking is included? If so that's so great. IS parking included the Knott's day also? That's less of an issue if its not because I can just be parked at my hotel instead. From the event FAQ: - Q: Is the parking fee included? A: Expect to pay for parking on the day of the event. On occasion, a host park has not charged the parking fee for our members and should be considered a "bonus" if this happens during the event. Please note that if you are allowed to park for free in the morning, you may be required to pay for parking if you leave the park and come back later in the day.
dkjamar19 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Just bought my ticket for SFMM I cant wait to meet some new friends, my only concern is how will we know when our purchase has been processed if we paid via Pay Pal? I did not see a return to merchant "button".

805Andrew Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Just bought my ticket for SFMM I cant wait to meet some new friends, my only concern is how will we know when our purchase has been processed if we paid via Pay Pal? I did not see a return to merchant "button". The button wasn't "return to merchant" but was something similar like "return to Theme Park Review Store" or something like that. Check your email to see if PayPal emailed you saying it the charge would show up on your CC statement as PayPal*Elissa and that the payment was made to Elissa Alvey. That's what it did for me when I bought my WCB tickets several days ago.
RAWKIN_coaster38 Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 We bought my SFMM ticket under the season pass discount, but I just lost my Gold Pass at SFDK this past weekend. Do I need to get a replacement pass before WCB or will I be alright without it on me?
SharkTums Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 ^You'll need to get a replacement and have the pass for WCB.
