I don't know what I did wrong? I feel like I played the same amount but I'm still 500 ray guns away from the final prize this week. Also I shot down like 7 UFO's yesterday and didn't get one 50 Ray Gun prize!!!

Same here. I know I played more than I did last week because I've been in vacation from work this week, and I'm still 1000 away! I've been checking about every 1-2 hours and making sure I've been visiting other towns everyday (which I didn't do last week).

Last week I was done with a few days to spare. This week, I just finished last night. And I played it the same both weeks. Once again, deposit gremlins on my land for extra rayguns, I will not squish them until Saturday.

FYI the next chain of quests is started by Homer and requires Lisa and Kang. Kang's task is 24 hours, I assume Lisa's is the same but I have her out trick or treating.

No matter how much I play I can't seem to get the final prize in each time frame. I've sort of given up on the Simpsons and been focusing on Family guy.

This 'third round' is ridiculous! I'm still not even close to the first prize. From what people are saying online you basically have to DOUBLE your collections from the previous weeks updates to get these newest prizes. Definitely frustrating.

^&^^ I find that strange. I was playing FG twice as much, and getting nowhere. I mean NOWHERE. I couldn't get any prizes in time, and was always left hanging. I stopped playing about a week ago.

 

In TSTO, I'm not having any problems. Just playing for about 2 min every 2 hours (collecting aliens) and then every 8, collecting and redeeming bags. I'm nowhere near the leader board (9th I think) of the squishing leader board (which means NOTHING!), since there are no rewards for being on that board. I also visit friends every 24+ hrs to collect aliens (up to 90) and moving along the story lines. (Kang is now on his 3rd 24hr task). I already have the DIET sign and have only 3 (??, I think) bags and then Ghost Burns, which I don't care about anyway.

 

I haven't spent any donuts except to get the drive-in (which only pays out money.), and I think Uter's building. But I have won about 50 donuts (incl. a 30 donut win like others have said) just from opening bags.

 

Dunno. I was thinking that this was a bit easier than the last few challenges.

^Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. This one seems easier that the clash update. I felt as if I played like crazy on that one and never got anywhere. Then I found out it was shorting me my numbers count. I got the Diet sign last night and am well on my way to getting the weird alien thingy. FG started out difficult, but as I got used to the way to play it, it became easy. I should finish it easily with a stockpile of over 100 each of the cauldron ingredients. I think I have enjoyed it much more as it has been quite hilarious at times.

I would agree that FG is much funnier, but the game play kinda killed it for me. Maybe I'm just not smart enough for that one.

Small update today. Matt Groening and a tie in Futurama episode promo.

 

The bigger question is...would we ever see a Futurama tapped out sort of game? I think if Family Guy can do one, Futurama could too.

I'm on "The Whole Truth Pt. 5" (just started this game a little while ago) and it says "Make Kang Reflect on his Situation" 0/1. So I tap "Do it" and I'm brought to the building screen. Is it asking me to build the Portal to Rigel 7? I'm not sure what it wants me to do here.

Besides the rabbit, I do not think it will happen this go around. From what I have found about this event, you get Matt, and new building, and the Rabbit.

Anyone watch the episode last night? KT and I really liked it. Well I'm at 12,166 long protein strings right now and have less than two days to get up to 14,900 so I suppose I'll have to use donuts if I really want the UBO. How is everyone else doing?
