ernierocker Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I really need to get back up to SFGAdv and ride El Toro. I only got to ride it that one morning during the 2008 East Coast Trip and it is still one of my top five coasters. I am sure under better riding conditions, I would of liked it that much more.
cfc Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 El Toro is amazing in any seat--in the back seat it is truly terrifiying (in the good way).
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I love this ride! I think it's awesome that you can see the train cresting the hills on nothing but the upstop wheels! Oh Intamin Fahrt, I love you so!
SuperShawn Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Such a crazy ride! Life is soo much better with it being a 3 hours drive away rather than a 6 hour flight.
amyzoo Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 El Toro is so great. I want to get back to ride it again.
Intaman Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 El Toro is obviously a fantastic ride. If only I lived closer to Jackson, NJ.
rcjp Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 That looks like some pretty serious airtime. I've heard so many great reviews of this ride that I just can't wait to finally try it out this summer
Moose Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) Great pics as always Hanno! I love that you got Matt and I on his one ride on El Toro. Edited April 10, 2013 by Moose
UrbanLegend Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 Are those the wheels flying off of the track on the airtime hills? Kickass.
Hhappy Posted April 10, 2013 Author Posted April 10, 2013 time for one of my personal all time favorite coasters.. Boulderdash Looking forward to getting back there someday and getting better pictures enjoy hot shot extreme hair extreme joy just another dark night, let's ride
Nrthwnd Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 ^ This is one I have always wanted to ride, since they first built it. I love wooden terrain coasters, and this looks like a great one! And looks even more cool at night! Great shots, Hanno.
Guy T. Koepp Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I love this ride! Easily in my top 5 wood. And that was before the GCI improvements. I can only imagine that double up, double down they added at the speed it hits that area of track. Insane! Did I mention I love this ride?
Hhappy Posted April 12, 2013 Author Posted April 12, 2013 In honor of a recent video of the day here's my picture of the day Ride of steel at Darien Lake Pictures are from the 08 trip
johnnyknottsville Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ok is the girl in the last pic in the back of the train crying while her BF tries to comfort her while laughing hysterically
cfc Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Love the picture of the train above the trees! It really looks like it's "flying" in that shot.
Hhappy Posted April 13, 2013 Author Posted April 13, 2013 from today's trip Familieachtbaan - BillyBird Park Hemelrijk I just like how this came out, total fail yet interesting as well..

Randomman295 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I like that second to last one. Great shots this time around.
disney4me2001 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 The kids hanging off of the supports are hilarious! Whose decision was that?
CpBluestreakCp Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Really cool coaster, love the people hanging off of it! Funny.
palmerleeberry Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 "Holy Moly!!! When I saw that first roller coaster at first glance, it look like some riders were being flung off the train. Then after a few more seconds, I realized that those weren't riders, but decorations." I don't think I ever saw any other coaster that featured those sort of decoration, but it did remind me of the Pirate Ride at Kennywood that featured a pirate hanging on some rope as part of the scenery. "I'm not perfect; I just love to ride"
Hhappy Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 From my 09 visit Anubis: The Ride - Plopsaland De Panne
