Is Goliath Helix at SFMM the most intense ever

Goliath's sin't as bad as some .. but it holds it a bit longer than most do.

 

Titan's was alot stronger before the midcourse was turned up, as well as Shockwave, Mindbender (West Edmonton) and Superman: Ultimate Flight. Those only hold the G's for a second or even less.

When I experenced Goliath's helix last month, I thought it was weak compared to what everybody says. I think Raging Bull's ending helix is a bit more forceful than Goliaths.

Goliath is definitely powerful, but Mindbender in Edmonton is by far the most intense ride ever.

When I went to SFGA 3 or 4 years ago... I blacked out on Nitro's helix...

I asked this on another helix thread, actually: Who really, really enjoys intense-G helices? I mean, I've learned to endure 'em, but to me, the best part (especially on Goliath) is the release of coming out of them...

Goliath is very intense, as are the helices on the Beasts, but the only lateral G that ever made me black out was on Kumba. It didn't happen until my seventh back-to-back ride, and I was moving one row back at a time. I was woken up by the brakes at the end.

 

I've started to "gray" out from positive G's on a couple of rides outside the US, Douple Loop at Fuji-Q did it to me three different times, for example.

Mindbender at SFoG and Raptor both have some really intense helices.

 

If you want to go with most intense eleements, I absolutely cannot tolerate the soul sucking power of the S:UF pretzel's.

Hmm... I havent really been in a good helix... but I sure felt Raptor pulling when i was on it... but I havent been on many coasters...

I think there are more intense parts of coasters, but as was said previously, I think it has to do with the duration of the helix. I think it has the highest "Sustained" G's of any coaster I have been on.

the first loop on batman the ride at SFMM. not so much of a black out, but a grey out.

Helix wise I would tie Titan's first helix to Goliath's finale helix, both are super intense. Those 2 are probably the most intesne helixes out there, but i can't really back that up.

The most intense helix I have ever been on is on Kumba at BGT. So many G's against your head, it hurts!

Nitro's Helix is pretty intense. But nothing beat how intense a pretzel loop is.

Yeah Mission: Space is pretty intense due to the length of the G forces. For me the most insane is the Superman: Ultimate Flight in the back row. That pretzel section was intense.

S: UF isnt that intense. but when i rode Goliath in July it was more duration that force. but i think Hades has the most positives G's (for a woody). I dont know, sometimes i black out on the Whizzer

Well, I've been on Titan, and though that thing has a lot of force, it's not the most "intense" helix I've ever experienced. Ever been on the Beast? I somtimes question if there will ever be a helix as insane as that one.
