monsterfan99 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Down to 2 weeks until I leave for Walt Disney World!!!! Not only will I get to do the Disney parks, but also both Universal park. Plus it is time to look at places to live for next year
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Yesterday, I got my last ride on Windstorm (you know, the mini coaster at Seattle Center?) before its removal in October/Late September. I'm at least glad I got a final ride, even though it isn't exactly the best coaster in the world.
BlackHole2005 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I go away on Holiday in about 3 days time to America to see my relatives and also they promised to take me to a Theme Park near them! Cheers, BlackHole2006
KnottsDisneyFarm Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 My birthday is coming up! When? Mine is August 26.
ebl Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 "My birthday is coming up!" (chmilo24) It can't be. I went to your profile and looked. You have no birthday. Mine really is coming up...and I'll be at Disneyland to celebrate. My confirmation for the free birthday visit came in my e-mail, so I'm all set! Eric
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 ^Congratulations! And since I hear a lot of other people are having birthdays soon or that they already had them, happy birthday to you too. I'm going to my local park Wild Waves tomorrow. I'll be sure to take a few photos for a TR, now that I'm getting better at them.
cal1br3tto Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 My assignment is due at midnight, not noon...which means I'm not screwed! (No, I didn't read the time wrong...last week, the assignment was due at noon, and I didn't bother to check this week's assignment until just now.) ^Can't wait to find out if Klondike Gold Rusher is really open...if it is, I'll visit in September for the credit!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 ^^Yes, Klondike Goldrusher IS really open, SF kept it closed constantly, but now it's open a lot more often. I actually think PARC has done a way better job at running the park and keeping a lot of rides running. You should return just to see how the park is doing, if the last time you saw the park was before PARC. 900th Post!
cal1br3tto Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 ^Good to hear! Its cars looked really thrashed when I visited earlier this month so I was wondering if it would be out of service for a while.
onewheeled999 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Hume Lake tomorrow! And I know Brent goes the week after me. I'll tell you how it is on Saturday.
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 My day at Zamperland was a lot of fun yesterday! I got 2 credits on Timberhawk, 2 on the Klondike Goldrusher (^^So yes, it was open, even though they were only running 2 trains), and I got a few rides on a lot of the flat rides there. P.S. If you don't get the Zamperland joke, WW has a lot of Zamperla rides there. Trust me, just look around, and you'll see what I mean.
astro Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 I got 2 1/2 hours of airtime on ert on the Steel Eel!!!!!
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 ^Same here. In fact, my walkie talkie experienced some when I dropped in on the floor on one of the bunny hills. I'm going to Wild Waves again tomorrow. The heat in the area is going to be extreme, nearly 100* F in Seattle, and so we're going to try to beat the heat by going to Zamperland. I'm sure it's going to be really crowded, but I think it's worth a shot.
netdvn Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I saw Bill Nye the Science Guy on TV for the first time in almost 12 years last night! I felt like I was in first grade again...
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 ^Not just pie; Marie Callenders (more of an American brand, if you didn't know) Cherry Pie with cinnamon crumb topping.... My Wild Waves visit on Wednesday was pretty good. I got 2 credits in the back seat and I think it's considerably better back there. The airtime was good and the intensity was better. But our friend got sick because she rode twice in a row (they allow that on Wild Thing) and she didn't do anything for the rest of the day. Still, it was a fun day (even though it was a record breaking heat wave kind of day).
Stoksy Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 Not just pie; Marie Callenders (more of an American brand, if you didn't know) Cherry Pie with cinnamon crumb topping.... What about apple and rhubarb, with cream and chocolate sprinkled on top. *drool, drool*
Six Flags Enthuseast Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 ^Hey, that sounds good too! Patrick "Putting the 'Pie' in "Happiness Pie" Thread" Carnahan
