Guy, after seeing you abbreviate this as "DSB", I thought it stood for Dirty South Bash. At least that's what I'm going to call it now!

Mmmyes you ranggg? Haha I'm going to try. Sounds like a blast. Great America was so much fun, and I haven't been to SFOG since '07. I'm sure I'll find my way down there.

If you all need a place to crash to and from, you are more than welcome to stay here. This includes James, his wife, Cameron, Ahhh, whoever! We'll make a weekend party out of it!

^Sure! You can reserve the crawlspace under the house. It stays plenty cool down there during the Dirty South days of Summer.

 

She can get all Sweetcocker all over your, uh... ...I'm gonna just shut up now.

Well it's outside of ATL, and Lake Winnie is about a two hour drive north of SFOG. But we can talk more about that on the NE trip.

I'm in. This could be my first event iwth TPR, I'm gonna buy something nice to wear...and get a haircut. Maybe a Braves post season game too, that would be killer. Are the Masquerade and Charlie Magruder's still open? I haven't been to Atlanta since 1992 but it was a good time back then.

I'm not sure about Charlie Magruders, but I know Masquerade is still around, as I'm going to see a show there in May

When the Braves win the N.L East this year, they don't start the NLDS until early October, so you'll have to make another trip for that.

The Masquerade is still open and probably just like you remember it. Going to see a show there in a few weeks, actually.

 

As for the DSB, I would definitely make the drive up I-85 from East Alabama and would most likely bring another person or two along.

I used to go to the Masquerade ALL THE TIME. I actually go-go danced at Club Fetish there. If you were hanging out around the Masquerade in 1992, we might have met. I've gotta' check it out next time I'm up there.

Yeah my mistake about the post season game but they are playing the Marlins and the Mets around the time of the trip. I haven't seen the Braves play since the old launching pad, the Hawks since the Omni, you get the picture, it's been a while but I love that town. The last time I went to SFOG the Georgia Cyclone was new and freaking awesome!!! If there is someone cool playing in Heaven, the Mas could be an epic TPR side adventure, one for the ages. Get Piers a plane ticket, I am drinking with that dude...and my hair is a train wreck, help out bro.

Just went this past weekend, was wet but some of the rides were still going. Dare Devil Dive still under construction, but it looks like it'll be awesome.

Would it be appropriate to tailgate in the parking lot before nighttime ERT? It is the Deep South Bash, tailgating would give the event more cultural relevancy.
