Its almost getting as bad as livejournal. No-one wants that on their personal facebook page. I admit that I do get a giggle when I see certain ex-members (and I think some current) and rivals going out of their way to spew hatred ridden bile, as long as they keep it to their own corners of the interweb. I suppose thats the nature of the beast. Guess the internet was built by frustrated nerds, for frustrated nerds. And porn. Never forget the porn. TBH, I didn't even notice what was in the first picture that started this whole thing. It really sucks that this day and age, being nice always gets us good guys screwed over. You know the worst thing about Facebook: Everybody is on it. I can vouch for Robb's niceness all the way back to the early days of RRC, and IRC chat. Back when Robb would send you his videos on a try before you buy basis. All honor system. Of course I think the online enthusiast community was a lot smaller then, and I think pretty much everybody either new each other directly, or through 3 degrees of separation max. If you decide to be someone's friend on facebook, you should be able to deal with whatever they post. If you don't like it, ignore it or de-friend them. There is no reason to go report something just because you don't like it. Robb, I hope everything works out for you. I've enjoyed reading everything you post on there, as well as watching all the videos you've made throughout the years. You are an awesome person, and it is really unfortunate that you have to deal with additional hassles such as this when you already devote so much time to pleasing members of this website you don't actually know. I sent you a friend request, but I understand if you don't re-add me as we only talked briefly a couple times on the IntimidaTour. I hope to get to know you better in the future. They see all of these amazing trips and think he just has the cushiest life. If you spend any time around Robb, however, you know that he is ALWAYS working - even when he's having fun, he's busy filming/photographing/uploading/organizing/parenting. I don't think he ever sleeps! Anyone who truly knows how hard both he and Elissa work at providing TPR FREE for all of us appreciates the hell out of what he does. I'm freaking lazy. I would come home in tears from school almost every day and I would keep going back. I feel Robb's pain because I have lived it. Looks like a group of TPR rejects have banded together on another coaster site and seem very happy with themselves that they are causing problems for us. To be honest, it's about what I expect out of insecure, jealous people who weren't good enough to be part of our "cool group." And let's be honest here, we are all coaster dorks so how cool can we really be? The one thing they have in common is all being banned from TPR for being douchebags. Oh well, when the two most popular threads on that site are "I'm too fat to ride" complaining about all the coasters they can't fit in because they ate too much at the gravy buffet, and now they blame the parks for not having fat-ass seats, and "My TPR account" complaining about how mean we are to horrible people, well, I'm honestly happy they've found each other and have a place to hang out. In short, they think it annoys me that they hate TPR, but I think it's GREAT! No one wants people like that here. It's GREAT that they are NOT on TPR anymore! I've found Facebook (largely but not exclusively) best for people you actually know and have actually met in person. Twitter is for any old person to follow you. Seriously though, when I think about what we want from TPR, the people who attend our events, and the trip participants that travel the world with us, no one wants annoying, bitter people around. It lessens the experience for everyone else and creates more work for us. And while it may sound mean to some people, I'm sure those who have been on a TPR trip, or attended one of our events are happy that we do our best to weed out the people that can ruin a trip for others. People like these expect to be able to hide behind thier screen names and no one will ever know. When they get the banned smackdown they get all offended and try to lash out.
