Blind Idiot God
Well, I just saw a dude get beaten to a pulp in the parking lot of my old job by the boyfriend of the server whom he drunkenly motorboated and then called a "fat whore" when he was getting 86'd. I don't know how it took him this long to get a lifetime ban, as he was getting thrown out all the time back when I was there for being a pervert, though he never went quite that far. Also, the one server from when I was there who is still there somehow became even more shrill and obnoxious than she was back then. Fitting that she looks (and acts) like she's twelve even though she's almost twenty-seven years old.
VinTheAttendant
One week ago, I was starting classes, getting to know the course itinerary, and my initial thoughts were, "This is going to be one fun semester." Cut to present day, my thoughts are currently, "Holy BALLS! Is it too late to change my major? Where's the reset button for 'life'?"
BigBomer
Pretty pissed about the Nascar race today, Ryan Newman (My favorite driver) was running in the lead with 8 laps to go which would have put him in The Chase (Playoffs) if he would have won. Instead Clint Boywer spins out completely out of the blue, which causes everyone to have to pit. While in the pits Newman loses 4 spots, after the restart Newman gets as many spots as he can and finishes 3rd. End result he ties Martin Truex Jr. (Boywer's teammate) and Truex gets the spot thanks to a tie-breaker. Listening in to Boywer's radio just about everyone agreed that his spin was intentional. It really sucks for Newman because his team is canning him this year and I really wanted him to show Mr. Haas he deserved to stay. He's going to get a ride next year, too much talent not to, but a place in The Chase would have solidified a ride next year. Update: Nascar just docked Bowyer, Truex jr, and Vickers (3rd teamate) 50 points which means Newman is in! This has turned into happiness. imawesome1124
The luck of the Irish. Not stated if it's good luck or bad luck but in this case, it's extremely bad luck. I want to be a musician, haven't even considered other career options, so when I realize that I need to start taking my drumming much more seriously my wrist starts acting up. The pain is excruciating and completely prevents me from playing. I tried playing with a brace, but that turned out to be impossible. To make it worse, my mom refuses to make an appointment with a hand specialist because "it isn't a serious issue and doesn't interfere in your life at all." The one thing in life I'm actually serious about, the only thing I have going for me, and I can't do it.

arby
I hate inexperienced hackers. Anybody can search the Internet and download the tools needed to easily do small scale DDoS attacks. That doesn't prove that you know anything. You can tell what I've been doing the last few days at work... tracking down some inexperienced 'hackers.' I do use the term hacker *very* loosely. So true, they are probably following in the footsteps of what others developed years ago and have no clue how the code works, it was just some program the decided to run. jray21
Went to see Insidious 2 today and there was only Amy and I, and one other family. Even though the family was at the top, and we were at the front, we could clearly hear them. They had a special needs person with them, but he was one of those who was really loud and yelling almost the entire first half of the movie. He also started dancing near the front, and almost hurt himself jumping over the stairs. You could tell he didn't want to watch the movie, but they probably couldn't get anyone to watch him. While that's unfortunate, it totally sucked for us. Oh, they also had their crying baby with them. That's right, they brought a little baby to Insidious! What's wrong with these people. I don't care how good a movie is, if we can't get babysitters, we're not going.

coolkid
I was playing RCT3 on my laptop, then suddenly the computer restarts, losing all my progress. It was so annoying. Edited September 27, 2013 by coolkid
LiMiT
I really can't stand the hype that Millennium Force gets. It's a good ride, but it gets boring after a ride or two because it has two types of hills: A camelback or an overbank. No other types. Okay, it has a couple tunnels. But it's nothing compared to Maverick, a Mega-lite, or anything that comes in a small package by Intamin.
Nrthwnd
Sad day today. Our park Playland (PNE) is about to close for the current season, today. At 5pm. And it's been raining and raining a LOT from morning till now. I was planning to go for one more ride on Coaster, but didn't - just don't want to get drenched, waiting in line for anything. So not really a rant, just a sad thing to know.
RougeOfVoid
This rant goes towards any Halloween event that is meant to be creepy and scary. 1. It is highly annoying when people point out where the monsters are. You are ruining this for other people, and it makes you look like a complete jerk to those that came to the park to get scared. Don't have a flashlight and shine it in every corner, and don't out the monster once seen. Some people pay 30+ dollars for this experience, and you are just ruining it for them. Glad you came to the park and all, but please be quiet about our locations. 2. Don't bring your four year old kid who is obviously scared of the monsters and mazes and expect us not to go in on them. I honestly hope every parent who brings their screaming and crying child to the park to have as much of a nightmare as their child. As I work in a scare-zone and not a maze I do tend to be a bit nicer to the little ones on the weekends when its transitioning from regular park times to monster times, but once its dark out then I will be giving it my all. 3. I love this job so much, but it beats the living hell out of my everything when everything is over.

onewheeled999
I don't have a history of back issues, but GOD, when I rolled out of bed this morning, I had to lie back down. I could barely stand, my back hurt so much. Hopefully it's just the way I slept, and that this won't last longer than a few hours. Also, this was the first thing I saw upon logging into reddit today. I once tweaked my back playing drums and it was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. It lasted for about 2 and a half weeks and I couldn't even walk properly because it hurt so bad.
RougeOfVoid
Two rants in one day, who would of thought! Had my little brother put like 500$ into one of those stupid "free to play" apps where you have an insane amount of purchases that cost actual money. Well I'm pretty much going to need to cover for this, and its really aggravating considering there are a lot of other things that are in the way or that will be in the way financially. I really hate how these apps make it so easy to buy the stuff, like they may make a bit more money by having the clueless parent or the kid who buys 10 dollars worth of stuff, and the parents just sigh and tell their kid not to do it again. There are too may of these nightmarish "kid has bough ****.00$ worth of content from a phone app, and everyone is panicking about. I wish you could confirm these purchases through e-mail or something like that, as its a bit ridiculous. Do need to add that this was't on any device I own. This was through the family's iPad, which is mostly used by my little brothers, and is not password protected because so. u.u stressful mornings/afternoons. MN Digger
i hate it when people run up escalators, it just really pisses me off like its not going anywhere why not enjoy the ride up instead of frantically pushing people aside as you run up moving steps..moving freaking steps. seriously to people who do that, where's the fire? onewheeled999
About two years ago, my long-distance girlfriend at the time was the victim of a rape attempt. I feel like this should have hit me a hell of a lot harder than it did. For some reason, it didn't feel personal, or even real. It was beyond awful for her, but it didn't affect my life in the slightest. Within a month, it faded into the background as if nothing happened. It was never brought up again. This makes me feel like crap, but it's just a testament to how unhealthy that relationship was, among many other reasons. Some of these reasons still have lingering effects today, over a year and a half after breaking up.
Blind Idiot God
My car needs the downstream O2 replaced, which I'm gonna have to pay way too much for, and now it won't friggin' start. Honestly, if it wasn't for my girlfriend being able to calm me down, I probably would have smashed the back window of the goddamn thing.
