hobbit Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 NovaRock 2011 was SUPER !!! The best line up ever !!!
Ace Of Spades Posted June 18, 2011 Posted June 18, 2011 Going to see Yellow Brick Road in a few hours, should be good.
SamanthaMc92 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Went to see Panic at the Disco in May - it was AWESOME
coolhandluke Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 ^Hey, I was there too! That was indeed a really fun set. Most all acts I saw that weekend were great.
Ed Farmer Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Just got tix for Paul McCartney @ Wrigley Field. After that I've got Pearl Jam @ Alpine Valley during Labor Day weekend. Pleasant turn of events, since I went into this summer not anticipating going to any shows.
Kyle Coleman Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 system of a down at the palms here in vegas. They put on a great live show and if you ever have the chance to see them take it.
FaithnotForgotten Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 ^^I saw a female bass player, officially in love again haha.
atem122 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 system of a down at the palms here in vegas. They put on a great live show and if you ever have the chance to see them take it. Was Gogol Bordello opening for them? I saw them at Coachella and LOVED them.
Kyle Coleman Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Opening acts name was somethin familia. Really weird band. Only time I have seen an accordian in a metal band. Several accordian solos too.
samisthabomb Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Well, I was going to go see A Rocket to the Moon at SFOT, but the power of roller coasters took over me
atem122 Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 On Friday, I bought tickets to see Bon Iver in L.A. at the Shrine Auditorium in September. I'm already really excited.
ernierocker Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 ^^I saw a female bass player, officially in love again haha. Â Yes, Emma Anzai is my dream women. Too cute and she flat out shreds on the bass...love it! Â Yeah, she is all kinds of bad-ass. Hard to believe they are Australian!
Jew Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Mana. 3 nights in a row. And I only understood one song: the drum solo.
Sir Clinksalot Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 ^ LMAO Â Saw Rush at Gibson Amphitheater last Wednesday. My 9th Rush show and it was a good one. I didn't even know I was going until about 4 hours prior to showtime. Â Next concert is Weird Al on July 9th.
ernierocker Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Â Yup, the Sick Puppies are easily the best thing to have come from Australia. Can't wait to see them again! Â Well, them and Silverchair. Which it is no surprise that Silverchair is one of the Sick Puppies' strongest influences.
QueerRudie Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 18 hours of the San Francisco Opera's Complete Wagner Ring cycle- over six nights. Â (My ass is STILL sore from it)
socalMAN123 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I caught Impending Doom and MyChildren MyBride at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on Saturday. If there is any explanation possible, it's the fact that there is blood on my shirt after washing it still and I have a sweet black eye. We also crushed a metal box on stage. Pretty epic and nutty show. Next up is Warped Tour this Friday!
the ghost Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Streetlight Manifesto/ Reel Big Fish summer tour July 12th! I can't wait despite the fact I go to concerts like crazy. 3rd streetlight show over the last year(since last august) and 2nd RBF show. It will be awesome though as both bands are awesome live and most of my friends I', going with have not seen them.
Ed Farmer Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Just saw Eddie Vedder @ Chicago Theatre last night. He did stuff from Uke Songs/Into the Wild/Pearl Jam. It was a great show.
Ed Farmer Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 He was pretty good. I didn't make it to the start of his set, but the few songs I've heard were just fine. I guess I'll get the chance to see him again Labor Day weekend because he's an opener for Pearl Jam.
Maximo37 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Hmmm... Honestly cannot remember the last concert I went to... Â However, just purchased tickets to see Erasure on Sept 2nd @ House of Blues (Orlando)... Should be a good time...
Xizor_Racer Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Back In Feb saw The East Village Opera Company..... VERY Cool show! Rockin' Opera!
cprocks22 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Owl City with Matt Kearney and Unwed Sailor at The Fillmore Detroit last night. 3rd time seeing Owl City and it was a great show, very fun and enjoyable. Both opening acts were good and I adore this venue. Overall extremely enjoyable, but not the best show I've ever been to.
