dylanreich Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Skull Mountain, Six Flags Great Adventure. BEST. RIDE. EVER.
LukasCoaster97 Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Xcellerator at Knotts Berry Farm - I love the top hat!
coasterbill Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Skull Mountain, Six Flags Great Adventure. BEST. RIDE. EVER. Â Damn... when I mentioned El Toro and Millennium Force as my favorite coasters I totally forgot about Skull Mountain. I need to re-evaluate my list now, especially since they put all of those light up skulls with phallic noses in there to spruce up the theming (no really.... look at their noses).

Yea, I had I-305 and El Toro up near the top of my list, but I doubt Skull Mountain will ever be unseated as the best. The special effects are just too top-notch. I never noticed the noses!

ThePasswordIsPie Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 After going to Dollywood, I would say my favorite roller coaster is
ThePasswordIsPie Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 What's the fifth one? I'm not... fluent in wooden coasters
imawesome1124 Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 ^Outlaw Run, that thing is incredible! Wrong. The fifth one is Cyclops. The sixth is Outlaw Run.
rcjp Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 ^^That's the sixth one. He was asking about the fifth (which I can't also identify as I'm not "fluent" in woodies either). ^Well, yeah, now I know.
triggernel Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Outlaw Run jumped to my favorite wood coaster this year. Â Maverick still holds top steel.
alwaysairtime14 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Still one of the Bizarro fanboys here! Â Still get that 'oh crap" moment! Â Â Â Coming in at a very close second, El Toro. Â
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Outlaw Run jumped to my favorite wood coaster this year. Â Maverick still holds top steel. Exactly the same here.
mark549 Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 El Toro. Â i305, Skyrush and Maverick are nice, but I like Toro even more. Only Rocky Mountain I've been on is topper track (Tremors). Haven't been on Bizarro Superman either.
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 How can I forget about Lisa and Susanna? My No.2 steel after Maverick.
Projektion Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 It's a tie between Dragon Khan and Shambhala at Portaventura. Shambhala because it's just so smooth and it was my first hyper, and Dragon Khan because it's just a good old classic B&M.

Portaventura did a good job overlapping those two roller coasters I think the best part of shambhala is how it almost acts as a backdrop for the China area (shambhala as the himilayan mountains to China).
