Yes we rode Mammoth a couple times until hypothermia set in

I have said before they should have made a shirt that said "I Survived Mammoth".

All 6 of us would have bought it (and still would)...

The animation was spot-on on the loop placement:

What makes it appears closer in real life is the tight FOV used on the pictures versus the wide angle of the animation.

Thunderbird looks awesome, it's so massive that it almost looks like it doesn't belong in this park. The way it towers over everything it's like a little family owned park built a gigantic major steel coaster, oh wait, that's exactly what it is! This is going to be a great addition and I'm sure it will be a huge hit for Holiday World when it opens.

I really need to make a trip back to my Ole Kentucky Home next spring, this thing, Kentucky Kingdom is back open, horse racing, bourbon, ahhhhh times like these make me wish I didn't live in Florida.

I thought the Voyage was a big coaster for the park, this looks huge for the park. To bad its a winger.... Looks fun at least! Should be a great addition

I think this is the most exciting part about the whole thing!

They have the supports laid out and even already have the straps on the next piece of track. Just waiting on the crane to get up there I guess. Definitely no weather issues today.

I've only been on 1 wing rider and I didn't love it but didn't hate it either. The launch should make the experience more exciting and I like what they are doing with some of the near misses in the layout. I'm excited about this thing, and 99.9% of the park guest will absolutely love it. Should be a huge success for Holiday World.

That immelman looks awesome. First time in awhile I've been reminded of the first time I saw a B&M under construction (Hulk) and was just in awe of the twists and size.

^I hope the launch pulls at least 1G. I don't want the new B&M launchers to go forceless. (I'm talking to you, Backlot Stunt Coaster clones!)

It's 0,78 Gs if the launch figures are correct. I never expected a very forceful launch as: LSMs do not produce the fastest accelerations (as opposed to other systems), the trains have 5 cars (which is usually the maximum LSM rides have) and still must be heavier than average and also I don't know it it really matters but it's B&M's first.

Yet the LSM are provided by InTraSys, and they are the provider for Intamin, Mack, Premier Rides, Gerstlauer and maybe a lot more.

I think they have plans for the old " Pilgrams Plunge/Giraffica" spot. I noticed they had new piping around the site Saturday, plus they haven't tore it up. Could we see a new Log Ride in 2016 to replace " Frightful Falls". Something to think about for 2016.

^ I'm sure they have plans for the station and land that the ride occupied. They probably are not sure what they exactly want to do with it at this point. Right now, I'd say it makes more sense to just turn it into a huge water fountain type of thing. They sort of did that already, but they can definitely make it more elaborate if they wanted to. As for Frightful Falls, part of me hopes they team up with Sally Corp and remodel it into a half-log flume/half dark ride type of thing. I think that would be really cool and would restore one of the original rides from when the park was renamed Holiday World. I would not complain if they removed the ride and replaced it with something else though.

^ I could see them adding another " Log Ride" type of ride. They most likely have something in the plans for that area since they didn't destroy it. I don't see using it as a Fountain. Maybe Intamin and Holiday World are working on something else to replace " Giraffica". I think some type of water ride will replace it.

^ Yeah maybe something similar to PP, but not similar to PP if that makes any sense. Something that actually delivers a real splashdown. Still waiting on that splashdown that is 30 feet high and 90 feet wide lol

What are the chances this loop gets topped off today? They may have to work past 6 p.m if they wanna get it done today.

Seeing Holiday World on Google Street View is very cool! I strolled around the whole Park!

And look what we have this morning- the remaining track has been placed completing the loop!!!
