Wes
And now for the star attraction of the evening... Two hours of ERT on Giant Dipper!!! Two hours of Giant Dipper and you don't even need to leave the train! I see a lot of happy TPR members! This is the way we roll! I see some hairtime! The Giant Dipper has one of the most famous "Coaster Tunnels!" TAKE THE TUNNEL!!! KidTums can't ride but she gets into the fun!!! "We'll just do some jogging on the boardwalk while everyone else ridwes!" As you can see, Robb doesn't do any jogging! Some of our riders lasted the entire two hours!!! The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is a fantastic park! One of the few remaining seaside parks that has kept its "traditional" feel. KidTums still doing her own version of the Giant Dipper! Giant Dipper and sunset over the boardwalk...FANTASTIC! That's right! Open for TPR Only! We have once again rented out the private beach deck for the TPR Santa Cruz Beach Party! The TPR beach party has begun! Food! Unlimited beer and wine! Beach volleyball! TPR beach volleyball = Epic Fail! Kristen loves the beach! Joey is on beer #5. KidTums makes "bucket shaped sand castles!" Digging to China or the Sarlacc pit? You decide! TPR on the Santa Cruz beach deck. TPR members trying really hard at this beach volleyball thing. Let's be honest here...any physical activity is good for us! Haunted Castle construction. Well it's pretty much done... Thank you Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for a great evening! fatdaddy
Everything was closed to us except the dipper, had some kinda grad night going on. We got there saw the rides going and bum rushed the boardwalk, only to be turned away cause we didn't have the right wristband. I think i drank somewhere between 10 and twelve beers. Food was awesome, weather was great, Robb kept flashing his butt crack. good times.

Wes
... Avatar hotel has become one of TPR's favorite trip hotels ever! The hotel has a quirky "Internet theme" to it... And all the rooms have roller coasters in the room! Perfect for TPR! And most importantly they have...BACON!!! Mmmmm.... Bacon! Bay Area Bash invades Six Flags Discovey Kingdom! You guys ready to see some giant fish? They brought the group over to the Shouka stadium for a giant fish show!!! Bay Area Bash 2010 is getting ERT = educational ride time! I want my giant fish...NOW!!! Hello giant fish!!! (yes we know they aren't actually fish...) Captain Lee pulled Tyler out of the group to train him how to be a Dolphin! Next they did awesome dolphin tricks. Tyler says "Thank you mr. Dolphin". Pet. Pet. Pet. Next up was the main celebrity...Shouka the killer whale! Nice killer whale...nice killer whale... Medusa ERT is AWESOME! KidTums first ever credit whoring date! (too bad it's with Joey!) I hope you all feel a bit dirty about this! Kiddie coaster credit! Random Camel! We have a few TPR members who could benefit from this service! Are you guys ready for a TPR "first?" That's right folks! The first ever TPR exclusive ELEPHANT SHOW!!! The elephant and most coaster enthusiats wear the same size T-shirt!!! And not only did we get to feed the elephant... ...we played tug of war with the elephant!!! Man versus beast!!! TPR isn't doing so well... Elephant FTW! EPIC FAIL!!! After the elephant kicked out asses we got to feed her cookies! Lunch time in the shady grove for our shady looking group. Wes
... We also had exclusive otter time. The stars of Happy Feet came to hang out with us. For the real coaster dorks (ie. us) they had some cool blue prints on display. Captain Lee was on hand to answer some questions. Did you know that his favorite movie with animals is The Jungle Book? Paul and Charles were on hand to answer operations related questions. There were some real winners like "Is Scream jealous of Medusa because she has a bigger parking lot?" Tami from sales and marketing handed out the raffle prizes! (Thank you Tami!) "An elephant painted my picture!" "Mommy...it says a goat painted this...that's so silly! Goats can't paint! ... Can they, mommy?" Bay Area Bash group photo!!! It's time for a TPR style credit run pit stop at the Oakland Zoo! We are here to ride the biggest, baddest coaster in Oakland! The Tiger Coaster!!! Just look at the intensity of that track layout! "We are dirty and proud of it!!!" "I'm clenching and squishing!" We are sad and pathetic but we know how to have FUN! Oakland Zoo has a really nice kiddie area that is a throwback to small traditional amusement parks. KidTums loved the tea cups! And since the Oakland Zoo isn't just about coasters, let's check out some animals! There's a lion in there somewhere! Giraffe...yup. Warthogs. Why did it have to be warthogs! Oh man! This place just keeps getting better and better! Mr. Turtle approves of this photo! The Oakland Zoo has an awesome sky ride for a birds eye view of many of the animals. OMG! "I'm chenched! Squished! And sucking in!" Edited May 17, 2010 by robbalvey
