Williamsburg Alewerks Coffeehouse Stout

Alewerks makes pretty good stouts and porters.

Alewerks Wheat Ale at the brewery taproom today.

Wheat beer is growing on me. Had a few good ones over the last few weeks.

Lagunitas Daytime Ale

This is the second Lagunitas beer I've tried. Thought the first one was just OK, but the Daytime Ale was much better.

Breckenridge Brewery Vanilla Porter

Pretty light and fairly pleasant--but nothing particularly special.

t'was magical.

I have yet to try the Creme Brulee, but it's funny that I just saw your post as Michael pointed this beer out to me when we were at Wegmans about 1/2 hour ago!

And thank you for buying/drinking our hometown beer!

I'm having a Southern Tier Live right now. I wasn't sure if I would like it or not, but tried it at a friend's house last weekend and discovered that it wasn't too bad. I ended up buying a "Pack O' Pales" Southern Tier 12 pack at the store the other day and they have three of these as well as Right O' Way IPA, regular IPA and 2X IPA.

While not quite as tasty as the Super Pack with Unearthly IPA, Gemini and 2X IPA, the Pack O' Pales is about $10 cheaper per 12 pack!

Durty Mud Season Hoppy Brown Ale (Smuttynose Brewing Company, NH)

I like brown ales, and this is a very good one.

Not a beer, I admit. But - how could I resist it?

Something about it. Not sure what. Very familiar, here. :p And it was pretty good!

Allagash White (Allagash Brewing Company, Portland, Maine)

A friend gave me a four pack of this stuff for my birthday, and for a wheat beer, it's quite nice. At 5.1% it has a decent kick, yet it's also fairly light with a good mix of citrus and spices--good summer brew.

A few things I've had and recently Instagram'd. I'm a big fan of cider, and recently ginger beer.

This was OK. Admittedly the label caught my attention.

Not a big fan of Woodchuck but always check out their limited batches. This was good.

Finally tried this stuff and love it.

So sweet, but actually tasted like apple pie.

The strawberry Maeloc is redic.

Time to make another contribution to the "alcoholics of TPR" thread. Today I ended the evening at the pub with a 1664 Blanc (damn this thing is delicious) followed by two "Småtøs" from the local 7 Fjell (7 mountains) brewery. Good stuff!

Josephsbrau Vienna Style Lager (Josephsbrau Brewing, San Jose, CA)

Turns out this is the same at Trader Joe's Vienna Style Lager. Not bad stuff, but nothing special.

Founders Curmudgeon Old Ale

Had a glass of this with my belated birthday dinner at Dudley's Bistro in Williamsburg; it's damn good, as was the dinner.
