screaminkid2005 Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Saturday night, my friends and I pre-gamed at her appartment in Providence, RI, called a cab, then headed down to the new Mirabar! At the club I had about 5 Bud Lights! Fantastic evening!
SuperShawn Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Newtons Folley Hard Apple Cider a few hours ago. It was tasty as always.
cfc Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 Sierra Nevada Celebration--a nice Christmas brew.
Moose Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 The House of Shandy's Tenacious Traveler. I don't like it nearly as much as their Curious Traveler.
Astrojack Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Troegs Mad Elf - easily one of my favorite seasonal beers. Dogfish Head Chicory Stout - Wasn't bad, don't think I'd buy it again.
SuperShawn Posted December 21, 2012 Posted December 21, 2012 Angry Orchard - Dry hard cider. It's becoming my new favorite cider, and not just because BWW now has it on tap.
805Andrew Posted December 24, 2012 Posted December 24, 2012 Samuel Adams White Christmas from their sampler pack.
Chris Benvenuto Posted January 29, 2013 Posted January 29, 2013 Miller Lite because my bowling league team won a free pitcher of beer. I had a glass, lol.
Yellow Jacket Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Bell's Hopslam. While it is a really good beer, I 'm not certain is is worthy of all of the hype--ie. guys driving in circles around the beer store waiting for the delivery truck to arrive, limiting sales to one 6-pack per customer, etc.
Astrojack Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Gulden Draak. Gotta love 1/2 priced beers during happy hour.
aLFREd_25 Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 My roommate brought home some Leinenkugel Sunset Wheat last night. It was pretty good wheat beer, I really enjoyed it. Like most, I'm sure it tastes amazing on tap.
shivtim Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Bell's Hopslam. While it is a really good beer, I 'm not certain is is worthy of all of the hype--ie. guys driving in circles around the beer store waiting for the delivery truck to arrive, limiting sales to one 6-pack per customer, etc. I think it's one of my all time favorite IPAs. But I actually like another one from Bell's even better - Oracle. Have you tried that one? As far as IPA's go, I also love Pliny the Elder (haven't had the fortune to try the Younger), Green Flash Imperial, and Hop Whore. And right here in Atlanta, Red Brick's DIPA is surprisingly good!
cfc Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 My last beer was some home brew an old friend of mine shared with me last night. It's his son's Christmas concoction, and it was pretty good. The ginger and orange gave it a nice tang. I like his motto.
mcjaco Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 ^ Still one of my favorite IPAs. Kona Brewing has started distributing to IL. So I picked up a variety pack at Costco a couple weeks back. Now I want to go back to Kauai......
black sabbath Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 I love this thread! I had a 22oz Ballast Point Sculpin IPA.. Definitely one of my favorites
