P. 469: Family inverted coaster announced for 2025!

Recommended Posts

The bridge can get it further out to the waters edge for more of a vertical drop!!!!! 126' near 90 degrees!!! that would be sweet

This is also supposed to be geared more towards families...

Now THAT looks incredible! I can't wait to see this thing open! Zerier has now catapulted themselves into the major leagues with this amazing looking attraction!

Well Cheetah Hunt has a near-vertical drop (or at least an ascent) and also an inversion and it's still considered a family coaster.

^^Sheikra, Cheetah Hunt (or Cheetaka when the graphics leaked) and Manta all suffered similar leaks in the months and weeks leading up to their respective reveals. I really don't think that in the long run, it matters. Especially because not everything you see in concept art ends up being true, i.e. Cheetaka (signage and all shown) as the official name of Cheetah Hunt.

I don't normally post, I just read, but I'm kind of disappointed that BG is departing from their mythical beast theme with their coasters. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun regardless of the theme, I guess I'm just one for tradition...

pkdcoaster, I recommend you take that picture down immediately. The watermark is clearly visible. Each document that has been handed out has it's own watermark. Whoever had that number probably just lost their job. BGWFans has a version without a watermark.

Really, I can't stress this enough, take the picture down. Someone is probably about to face legal action over this.

Well after seeing that concept art maybe Zierer is ready to hang with the big boys in the industry, that looks really nice I've went from disappointed a little to unsure about Zierer to hmm that looks cool and very interesting. This just might shape up to be something really awesome.

I have already been in touch with BGW as to what they want us to do with these pictures. I'm just seeing all this stuff for the first time right now, I'm not exactly sure what to do with it all, but since we have a relationship with the park, I'm going to go right to the source.

I've linked them to the images, and if they would like us to remove them, we will.

Aww, but I really like the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder they apparently used as inspiration. It's so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

Literally lol'd.

I did too!

Robb, I wouldn't be so concerned over your relationship with the park, I'd be more concerned about the job safety of one of your members or their source.

You have to remember that, once something like this is out on the internet - it's out on the internet. Us taking it down won't make it go away now since it wasn't TPR that first posted it. I've seen this happen on projects even I've worked on. I mean, I worked on the original Transformers movie and every time one of those images got leaked, yeah, the studio was pissed, but there wasn't much you can do about it. As soon as one site got a hold of it, the images spread like wildfire.

Like I said, I've contacted the park and I'll defer to their recommendation. At this point, they are the only voice I'll listen to.

<-------------- Right click, save picture(s) as...

The first thing I did when seeing the picture!

But in all honesty, BGW has a FANTASTIC looking family coaster coming their way. I've always been one to not find BGW's coasters as "amazing" as everyone makes them out to be (Apollo, Griffon, and BBW), but this one so far, has my close attention and money in the bank account on hold for a 2012 season pass along with KD and Dollywood!

You sure the park didn't release the plans on purpose to create buzz? I'd say not to jump to conclusions yet. On top of that, pkdcoaster didn't leak the photos to the public. Someone at BGWFans with direct access to the park/JCC Planning commission leaked the documents. It's already too late to keep the project under wraps because it's been leaked online and anyone can save the pics on their hard drive/post it in other places.

That sign with the ride's prototype name is still sitting in a public area next to the bumper car house. I'm really hoping they keep the name.

As for that last sexy piece of concept art...

AWWW HELL YEAH! This project is looking better and better with every piece of concept art released. And those trains definitely rival Texas Giant 2's new trains in terms of awesomeness.

That concept art looks great! ALl the reviews of 13 at Alton Towers I read were kinda meh but hopefully with a drop like that to end the ride the indoor drop sequence will be a cool affect and not the climax of the ride.

And from what I understand, the creative folks at SeaWorld parks have gotten pretty good at accidentally "leaking" various pieces of information over the years about new attractions. Manta's splash down and layout drawing, Cheetaka's layout, I think Manta West's layout was leaked at one point or another. Point is I think most of the time if images are leaked its because the park wanted them to be.
