Some good stuff on that lift of craft brews.

Too true! Of particular note: New Holland's Dragon's Milk - my favorite beer! SO great!

The other two Michigan beers are good as well, particularly Founders Dirty Bastard!

Now this is a great addition! Too bad I won't make it to preview day to claim one of the 300

I was thinking the same thing. I am still a couple weeks out from the move to VA and am so mad I can't make this. Next year we will obtain our golden steins!

Im a big craft beer guy. I've actually been brewing my own for a few months now and each batch has gotten better.

That being said I love to get out there and try all new kinds, its great that a themepark can offer its guest so many options. This must be the most extensive list of beer at any park anywhere.

That is a ridiculous deal and equally ridiculous lineup of craft beer. Right about now, I'm really wishing I lived a bit closer to BGW. ;_;

That sounds great but whenever I go to Busch Gardens though I always feel like I should drink Budweiser. I feel like a dick drinking anything else, lol.

I feel the same way. The Budweiser taste way crisper there its beautiful.

I love craft beer and am very interested in the Stein Club @ BGW. Seriously considering make the trek from NOVA to BGW early Saturday morning to Season Passholder Preview Day for the sole purpose of getting one of the steins. I imagine there will be a long line from the time the park opens and the steins will go very quickly! Reminds me of the AB days when they offered free beer tasting in Das Festhaus and Grogan's Pub! Of course it was limited to AB brands, but was surprised to discover what I and others thought were microbrews at the time, actually were not.

Back on the new ride, just some thoughts:

Whatever the new ride is, I think it will be heavily themed. It might have much more than Verbolten. Theming and scenery takes a longer-than-average time to make since they are building the coaster, taking the normal length of time, and then the scenery which adds on more time.

Personally, I would not be surprised if it was an RMC steel coaster, since there isn't any yet. It could also be a wing coaster, since it is a flexible idea for the park. Ultimately though, I have no evidence backing any of these so it could be anything.

Just got an email from Groupon that is featuring a deal @ BGW. You can purchase a BGW one day admission for $38.50 (half price) that is valid for admission March 20 - June 26, 2016. The deal allows you to purchase up to 10 one-day admissions. This is a great deal for anyone coming from out of the area and stopping at BGW for a day.

Life is too short to waste time drinking swill.

^Even though that particular beer is now owned and brewed by a Belgian company?

Personally, I'll go with the true "American made" beers. They come from local microbreweries. But to each his or her own.

I know all too well about the buyout, it was a sad day.

I love my craft beers as I base many of my weekend trips around craft beer festivals. As I said before I even have been brewing my own. I just dropped a few hundred on some better equipment to produce much more at a time. If all works out you'll see my label at Busch Gardens

I'll have to make a limited edition "CFC IPA" for you hahaha.

It absolutely will not be a wing coaster. If you look at the blueprints posted back you can see there is a trench in the diagram. A regular B&M 4-across car wouldn't fit through that, much less a wing coaster which is more than twice as wide.

What? No Angry Orchard?

I bet a lot of people are going to be pissed that there is no Coors Light either!

Me? I'm looking at trying out this one...surprised you didn't notice this one right away, Guy!

X 100!

(Not to mention wasted calories! If I'm going to expand my waistline, it had better be with substantive beer! )

Just imagining asking the bar tender "May I try a lickinghole please?" Or "one large lickinghole please!"

Already guessing much time will be spent at the craft beer has this season, and also thrilled to see the Octoberfest is returning in the Fall!
