thrillrider
I love the look of the new plans. Was it ever confirmed that the snow white dark ride was being removed for the coaster? If so, what will replace it....maybe a Mr Toad?
King_K.
I love the look of the new plans. Was it ever confirmed that the snow white dark ride was being removed for the coaster? If so, what will replace it....maybe a Mr Toad? This is what's gonna replace Scary Adventure. In Princess Fairytale Hall, Aurora, Cinderella and other Disney princesses, such as Tiana and Rapunzel, will greet guests in their new home, an elegant royal court on the site where Snow White’s Scary Adventures stands today. esvadj
Was it ever confirmed that the snow white dark ride was being removed for the coaster? If so, what will replace it....maybe a Mr Toad? As I understand it, the existing Snow White ride is going to be the princess meet and greets. They have already put signage up on the construction walls about the new coaster:
The Big So-So
Who is the Seven Dwarf, and where did he get this mine train? Sorry, but misplaced apostrophes bother me a great deal. And even worse-- on actual signage posted at the park!

OISU8P
I may be a little biased here since I am currently consumed in Fairies and Princesses. I also can relate to SharkTums on the buying of these costumes and gearing up to buy some new ones for my next Disney trip (whichever park that may be). I agree with a few of the other posters that think of Fantasyland as a little girls place in the park. I am a little disappointed they scrapped Pixie Hollow here and hope they find another space for it in the future. Many rides in Adventurland and Tommorrowland are more boy centric. Oh well, it looks like a great expansion anyways... I will look forward to the new coaster for her at some point.
senna
I wonder if there will be a group that tries to save the old Snow White ride like they did with Mr Toad.
Swimace
^More importantly... Will Snow White get a gravestone at the Haunted Mansion like Mr. Toad? DISCUSS!

cfc
^Er, there's a bit more to the Fantasyland upgrade than "meet and greets." Perhaps you should go back and read this: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=988298#p988298.
OISU8P
The new art work has "New FantasyLand Fall 2012" written on it. I thought only part was going to be done by then and this was to be complete be 2013. I wonder if that was a typo or they are ahead of schedule. SharkTums
^I was kind of hoping maybe all that will be done by 2012, and then they'll get rid of those terrible tents in toontown for 2013? We can dream right!?
BeemerBoy
Yeah, those tents have always been awful looking, but with the Dumbo relocation, at least they somewhat make sense now....even though I still hate circus-related crap.

Scott45
The most annoying thing here to me is the fact that the Florida suits downgraded the Pirates and Space Mountain upgrades due to the fact that it would "cause people to cancel their plans to visit WDWif the E ticket rides were closed" and then turn around and do this. Swimace
^I don't really get what expanding Fantasyland has anything to do with Pirates or Space Mountain... They're not closing any major attractions for construction. How is expanding the most crowded area of the park a bad thing?
Scott45
It's not a bad idea per se, it's the fact that WDW was always shortchanged on ride refurbishments compared to DisneyLand. As an eastcoaster it's hard to watch what DL gets via on-line pics here as well as other Disney sites then find out that DW is getting the "lite" version. JT3000
HA HA HA HA florida is getting meets and greets while california gets a giant themed test track with 3 other rides. Florida got a giant themed test track ages ago. It's called Test Track. Imagine that. It's not a bad idea per se, it's the fact that WDW was always shortchanged on ride refurbishments compared to DisneyLand. As an eastcoaster it's hard to watch what DL gets via on-line pics here as well as other Disney sites then find out that DW is getting the "lite" version. What exactly are we getting the "lite" version of? We don't know how our Mermaid will compare to DCA's and everything else in this expansion is unique to MK. Why did you even mention ride refurbishments? Nothing's being refurbished here (except Dumbo.) You might want to read the plans again, because I'm not sure you understand what they're doing. OISU8P
^ and EPCOT as whole..... I wish they would just add Greece (I would live some good Greek food when there) and Spain.
SharkTums
^Trust me, whenever I'm at the park during Food and Wine I wonder if it would be possible for them to just have those food stands year round!!!! Then you could get your Greek and Spanish food year round!
SoCalCoasters
Maybe Universal can give them Mythos, and the rest of lost continent area for Greece when they Potterize it... Edited January 21, 2011 by SoCalCoasters
