CHILLERLC1
NITRO at SFGADV will once again be my first coaster of the year. I want to go Opening Day.
bhslhs
I'm starting off my season at Magic Mountain which will be by far the best coaster park i've ever been too so I'm weighing my options between either X2, Tatsu, Goliath or Terminator because I wanna see if Terminator is better than Tremors. Great question , Great Thread
FitchCoaster
Pony Express at Knott's opened my coaster season. Not the best way to start, but it was a good start nonetheless. Â I wasn't really thinking about "which coaster should I start my season with" at the moment. Obviously. Hahahaha.
Six Flags Enthuseast
Oh yeah, I forgot my coaster. Somewhere along the means of Ghostrider or Pony Express. Then Xcelerator and whatever's left.
DBru
Well my plans have changed, and I'm heading to Six Flags St. Louis on Saturday... Â I guess I will start off with Tony Hawk's Big Spin. This way, I can get the credit, without worrying about waiting in line. Â (I haven't been to the park since...2000?...so I'm really excited about riding the Eagle again, and finally experiencing Mr. Freeze, The Boss (I don't mind G-trains...), Xcalibur, EK, B:TR, and even Ninja!) Speeddeamon128
My season is finally here! Since Nitro was closed because it valleyed, Batman: The Ride was my first coaster of the year at GADV.
themeparkman25
Why did it valley? Was it windy or cold or something? I don't think I know many B&M's that have valleyed before, only Raptor I think.
Superman06
Six Flags Great Adventure this Thursday. El Toro will be my 1st ride.

Aftershave, or Flight Deck, or.. whatever they're calling it at Carowinds valleyed recently too I believe. Wind, I think is the primary factor. mayberry21
Springtime in the Park at Hersey, next Friday! Depending on what will be open, I'll most likely be on either Farenheit or Storm Runner first (preferably Storm Runner). If neither are open, probably Lightning Racer.  Thank God winter is over. jbarner14
Mind Eraser at Six Flags America was my first coaster this year. I had the whole ride to myself. It was kind of weird being the only one on the train.

Sue
I wanted it to be Rolling Thunder at SFGAd which is how we've always started our season at the park. However, since most coasters were closed at opening, it turned out to be Skull Mountain.
expeditioneverestfan
I'm probably going to Cedar Point in August but before that I'll go to Six Flags Great America when Buccaneer Battle is open and maybe Little Amerricka or some parks in the Wisconsin Dells. With that my first coaster of 2009 is most likely Ragin' Bull. When I go I'll post trip reports.
coastercrazed49
My first park is most likely going to be Six Flags New England, and the first coaster is going to be Superm.... err I mean Bizzaro.
