If you are interested or just want something to do join us on Youtube Stream on Sunday! I no both rides aren't that great it is just that kk gives me a rush & I enjoy it. I've had bad luck with getting runs on TTD not to mention I rode the 1st guest ride on kk before it opened & take pride in being a 1st rider. denning Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Kingda Ka is better for one reason and one reason only. Flashpass, why wait in line with the sheep and get one or two rides on a busy day, when you can pay extra and get 10-15 rides of facepulling goodness. Having ridden both, I agree that Top Thrill's restraints give a slightly better ride, but that quality is not enough to overtake the quanity argument. And yes you can compare which clone of Batman and Bomerangs is best, because operations, maintainance, theming, and location are part of the experience.
thunderguy345 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 KK is the best. i have ridden both of them and KK is better because of the big airtime hill instead of hitting the brakes right after a tophat. for me a good intamin launch coaster should have some good and strong airtime. TTD is somewhat boring: Launch, crushing g's, airtime, twist, brake. KK: Launch, crushing g's, airtime, twist, MORE AIRTIME, brake. KK rules
