grinch1313
Large Test 2 played perfectly on my computer. I do have lags occasionally on YouTube, etc. My internet speed seems to vary. Today's test results: Download Speed: 2971 kbps (371.4 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 315 kbps (39.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
ChrisChavan
Both of the videos went smoothly throughout. The larger video had slightly better quality, but it was very discreet.
thrillerman1
Robb both vids played fine for me which is really quite amazing considering I'm in Tennessee. No laggage...just totally stellar Intamin sexyness! I watched both versions full screen, and as I think everyone else has said, the larger file did look better for me too. onewheeled999
Neither of them played. I clicked on them and waited like two minutes each, and they just stayed on that screen with the circle that has the light traveling around it. My computer sucks. And also, when I try to go to themeparkreview.com/tprtv or just tprtv.com, it says "INTERNAL SERVER ERROR" and explains how it couldn't complete my request. Hmmm, something's fishy here... robbalvey
^ Try again now. Obviously the server was down when you tried which would explain the poor performance!
jtizzle
I had the same problem with both file types buffering slowly. On the large it would play for about 30 sec then pause to load/ buffer and on the small it would play for about 45 sec then pause to load/ buffer. Here is my speed results: Download Speed: 1362 kbps (170.3 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 738 kbps (92.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
robinschroder
Hi Robb, According the speed test, I have 5484kbps download 360kbps upload but I'm over in the UK - not sure if that has any influence on things. Large video file Took about a minute before it started to play Stopped to rebuffer at 21" for about a minute and a half Stopped to rebuffer at 39" for around about another minute and a half etc. Small video file Took about half a minute before it started to play Stopped to rebuffer at 22" for about a minute Stopped to rebuffer at 39" for about another minute etc. Large video file test 2 Took about a minute before it started to play Stopped to rebuffer at 20" for around a minute and a half Stopped to rebuffer at 37" for around another minute and a half etc. I never normally have any buffering or lagging problems on streaming content sites and could always stream the smaller TPR videos in the updates without any problems. Hope that's helpful! Robin
Menghini
No problem with both video's and both video's looked the same in quality. Speed results: - download: 5101 kbps - upload: 842 kbps
thunderguy345
There was no lag or stalling in the Big version and it loaded fast and the picture was clear as a sunny day. In the small version it loaded fast, no lag or stalling, but in full screen it lagged in small 'ticks'
cfc
Robb, I tried the large video on my office computer with kick-butt broadband, and it worked perfectly--no stalling or lagging at all. Upload speed about 3,700 kpbs Download speed about 3,000 kpbs Crap, I so have to upgrade my home computer.
AlmereStars
The small video went smoothly and loaded quickly. The larger video loaded again at 1.05 minutes. but thats not a problem since I just found out my brother started downloading on his laptop I did get this message next to the ratings though: Rating: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 I don't know if thats anything to worry about?? BkkMan13
Both videos seemed to take a long time to buffer, each time it had to stop to do so it took a couple minutes to keep going on a couple of seconds. The large video had a great picture, and the smaller one had a picture that wasn't as clear.
coastercrazy216
I watched both and the larger file worked perfectly for about half the video, but then it began to lag; however I had no problems with the smaller file.
coastercrazy216
I did just have an idea. Would it be possible to have a feature so that you could download these incredible videos to your computer or iPod?
robbalvey
^ Funny you should mention that! There IS a button on each video already that allows you to download the video to your computer. You can download both the original file and the .flv file. You *may* see a feature soon that may convert the video to a .mp4 format and allow you to download to the iPod! Anyone else think that would be a cool feature? --Robb
Wes
^ That'd be sweet. The new Flash player is doing H.264 encoding, correct? The latest version of Flash can recognize and play .Mov, .MP4 etc. Can the programmer guy make it so the extension of the converted file that gets placed on TPRTV's server is an .MP4 and not a .FLV? That way instead of downloading the FLV, you can just downloaded the MP4 and drag it into iTunes.
astroworldfan1
Robb, that'd be totally awsome if you could have that feature! -Tatum
ajinaz
Robb, All three played perfectly for me with a 7-10 second start delay. I also get the SQL server error in the description box on the first one. Using Firefox. Six Flags Enthuseast
The small one started after about 8 seconds, and it stalled at about 32, 57, 1:07, 1:50, 2:22, and 2:41. The larger one had a start delay of about 26-27 seconds, and stalled at 31, 48, 1:03, 1:19, 1:36, 2:06, 2:23, and 2:40. Good luck with finishing the beta testing! Troll
All three are stalling every 8-12 seconds on my computer (8.3Mbps, xindows XP, windows IE7). I've watched the version on youtube though and it works fine; no buffer time at all even on the high quality version
HAZARD
I had no problems with either of them, I did notice a better picture on the larg file though. but they both ran smooth.

churchpunk
All videos loaded fine and looked great. I'm running at 2800 Kbps with an ati radeon vid card.
coasterdude5
Hey not sure if this has been mentioned or not but the Events link on the TPRTV page takes you to an outdated version with the 2007 trips listed. Not a big issue but I thought you might want to know.
robbalvey
^ Fixed! So is there anyone who is browsing TPR TV on a regular basis? Just wondering. --Robb
