Sluggo77 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 The funny thing is I felt that Cyborg was the fastest at the very end once it was flat again.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 ^ That sounds like the usual trademark of Chance wipeouts.
SK4494 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I still think it would make sense if they changed the DC area to Metropolis, rename Catwoman to "Wonder Woman Lasso Coaster" and rename GCG to Justice League and have all the cars themed to all the Justice League members.

Idk. I think Six Flags would keep it just DC themed. That area is nice as it is like the sign walking down to DC is something Six Flags WOULD NOT do today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SK4494 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 But having two rides themed to Batman outside of the Gotham City area just seems off to me tbh.
michaellynn4 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 But having two rides themed to Batman outside of the Gotham City area just seems off to me tbh. Great Adventure has Superman and Green Lantern in Boardwalk, Bizarro in the Western section, and Joker and Harley Quinn along the Waterfront. Six Flags doesn't care.

Canobie Coaster Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I don't think the average guest cares enough if there are Batman rides in two areas of the park (actually three if you include Blizzard River as well).
bert425 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 love the look of it, and think the theming they have looks great. tho a bit odd, no Cyborg in attendance for the opening (which would have been nice). . but oh well, got Wondy, Supergirl, and Flash (and even Harley & Joker). .. hope this is a hit and Six Flags adds them to a few more parks. perfect family ride.
michaellynn4 Posted June 5, 2019 Posted June 5, 2019 The most important question no one has answered yet, though: how sexy is Cyborg's voice? In all seriousness, looks like a fun addition.
thesman Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Went to the park yesterday, crowds were very light but probably had the best expiernece I've had at the park. 2 trains on all rides, all the staff was very friendly, operations were great except on flashback surprisingly which somehow had the longest line in the park. Even my food service was pleasant and that says a lot. I think this is the season they got everything together.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 ^ I mean they were the 5th friendliest park on the Golden Ticket Awards a few years ago.
coasterbill Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 This ride looks like a lot of fun. I'm glad they finally put a Trabant ride back in that building. The only bummer is that it's the perfect Holiday in the Park ride but it most likely won't be open given it's location.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I agree it's location is a bummer for HITP, but it'll still be nice on the chilly days in Fright Fest.
Sluggo77 Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 They have hinted at expanding HITP possibly next year but we shall see.
The Yeti Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 The ride sounds great, basically an updated Cyclone Sam’s (at Worlds of Fun) to me...more importantly, how did GRID sound? In all seriousness, please don't kill yourself when this turns out to be nothing more than a ride in a box with some strobe lights. Come on, stop letting yourself down. There will be screen projections and Grid will be in it. It's not my fault I'm attracted to some skull robot thing just because his voice is hot and I consider what he does to Cyborg pretty... let's not go there. Anyway, sign went up. And commence my Grid fangirling in 3... 2... 1! OMG GRID GRID GRID GRID...
coasterbill Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 They have hinted at expanding HITP possibly next year but we shall see. You would need to open and decorate the entire park to get to that ride and it's a Trabant.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I'd rather see them close Crackaxle Canyon and open DC Heroes in its place. Now that's of course me dreaming for Superman in December.
Canobie Coaster Posted June 7, 2019 Posted June 7, 2019 I have no shame. You'll find me eating my pizza fried dough from Villains Cafe.

You would need to open and decorate the entire park to get to that ride and it's a Trabant. Yup basically they would outside of what’s closed in the north end already. Also tough if there is any ice with the stairs or ramps to get down there but it really was hinted at as a possibility.
ice1972 Posted June 8, 2019 Posted June 8, 2019 ^Man it would be great to ride supe in December....would they ever close the stair access and just use the ramps over the Superman tunnel? Kind of a PITA to get to Cyborg but could be done....not sure if they’d be required to maintain double access points using this stairs by CW....the ramps would be easy enough to clear snow and salt for ice....they really need to do this
