Jive Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 The speed looks very surprising. I'm even more anxious to see what Prowler looks like on it's test runs.
Der Der Dongt Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 Wow! Can't wait to ride it! I will go there on the third of May.
coasterfreaksrttd Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Oh God.... TWO wooden El Toro's?! How am I ever going to keep these straight?! For some reason, I see myself getting into some sort of whacky, "Who's On First" sort of coaster misunderstanding with someone. On a lighter note, looks like a great coaster... Nice job GCI!
CreditCrazy Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Looks awesome. 4 air-time hills in a row has to be pretty sweet
Wood Dragon 1988 Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Dear GCI guys, Please convice East Coast USA parks to order a coaster with 4 airtime hills and a straight drop. I am a straight drop lover!!!
hansrubens Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Unbelievable that they actually still call it El Toro I thought it was the project name not the real ride name. Or are they suggesting that this El Toro has more airtime than it's "twin" brother in New Jersey. -----Hans
lil jimmy norton Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I don't care about the name, the ride looks pretty cool. Those four airtime hills look like they give some nice pops of air.
Kennyweird Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Two El Toros? That's like having two Chuck Norris's - it isn't possible.
Noxegon Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 Indeed. The real El Toro can be found in Geroland park in Egypt! The Real El Toro!
netdvn Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Unbelievable that they actually still call it El Toro I thought it was the project name not the real ride name. Or are they suggesting that this El Toro has more airtime than it's "twin" brother in New Jersey. Or maybe they have no idea there's a coaster in America that has the same name. Please convice East Coast USA parks to order a coaster with 4 airtime hills and a straight drop. I am a straight drop lover!!! So El Toro isn't good enough for you?
jray21 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 As good as the rides looks, I'll have to say that the Egypt El Toro takes them all!
Kennyweird Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 As good as the rides looks, I'll have to say that the Egypt El Toro takes them all! If the Egypt El Toro is the real El Toro, then that means the real El Toro is built by Zamperla!
robbalvey Posted March 31, 2009 Author Posted March 31, 2009 Don't forget about the El Toro at Isla Magica, Spain!
netdvn Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Everybody's wrong! El Toro is at Pedro's South of the Border Photo Courtesy of Flickr
Evan1127 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 As long as this thread is being bumped, check out these curves: Courtesy of the GCI Interns.
Shockwave Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 ^^Nice photos, looks like the turnaround after the first drop is gonna be fast and furious!
Mats Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 ^^Nice photos, looks like the turnaround after the first drop is gonna be fast and furious! It's fast!
BDG Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Track arrived for the park's new Mack Powered Coaster. Mack's Maximilian Röser describes the ride as follows: "This will be our first powered coaster with modern track construction techniques. Together with a new train design, it will allow for a much smoother ride experience." www.facebook.com/FreizeitparkPlohn
gerstlaueringvar Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Awesome! Those track already look much smoother than those on the one at Ocean Park.
Adervus Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Any recent updates? They gave a brief look into the hall with some groundwork already done. But nothing very special. (Source)
