AMEN!!! It's so dumb to me that a company (Premier) which made headlines and won awards and praise from all of us for taking OTSR's OFF of rides that didn't need it is now needlessly putting OTSR

The Ice Breaker animated POV looks pretty good, I think it will have a good amount of airtime and may be a surprise hit! With that being said can someone PLEASE explain to me why Premier insists on pu

Friendly reminder to passholders to make sure you stop at guest services before the end of the year (On the left near the entrance)... as they’re giving out $50 in in-park credits and free drink vouch

I read the original post and thought, "Actually Mean Streak is smoother than El Toro if you sit in the front and lean forward, but I won't post that because nobody will believe me and it sounds ridiculous... plus El Toro still sh*ts all over Mean Streak and is still very smooth".

You guys are on to me.

Taken from the Give Kids The World Facebook Page:

Calling all thrill-seekers! Support Give Kids The World and be among the first to experience Florida’s tallest, longest – and fastest – new roller coaster.

SeaWorld and Give Kids The World Village are auctioning off a ride on SeaWorld’s new 200-foot, 73 mph coaster.

Bidders can choose their seat depending on their desired thrill experience and ride Mako on June 8th, days before the coaster opens to the public.

All auction proceeds will benefit the Village – that’s nothing to shake a fin at.

Bid until June 3rd: http://www.32auctions.com/InauguralMakoRide ‪#‎NothingFaster‬ ‪#‎GKTWVillage

As much as I would LOVE to donate (I really would!) I have no money to bid anything So that's why I am planning to sign up for the preview day on the 8th by signing up for it, on the 20th, and 21st This month. Was wondering if anyone wanted to go to sign up and spend a day at sea world.

I wouldn't really count on it . . .

The ride is ready to go, but the station and queue line still need a ton of work, so I wouldn't expect it to open for a while. Maybe softs by end of May, but it's doubtful.

At the park now! Here's a few pictures of Mako from about 5 minutes ago.

The entrance area is starting to take shape.

I can't wait to see how this area turns out...

Around the bend.

We should be back early next year. I can't wait to ride it!

Coaster enthusiasts that live in the New York/Jersey area coming to Sea World for Mako is a waste of time. It is basically a clone of Nitro.

Except with a steeper first drop, immersive theming, a splash down effect, tight maneuvered swooping turns and 15 years of technology advancements compared to when Nitro debuted...etc.

Yeah it's an exact clone if you say so.

Count me in as somebody else who thinks it's NEVER a waste of time to go to Orlando! I love that place, and frankly, wouldn't mind living down there! Also, Sea World beats any of the Disney parks, at least for me personally!

And Mako a clone of Nitro??? For shame...

I wouldn't compare Sea World to Disney because they're so different, but if you're a big-time animal lover I don't think it's unreasonable at all to prefer Sea World. I love Sea World for the laid back atmosphere compared to the other Orlando parks, the great animal exhibits and shows and because Manta is probably Orlando's best coaster.

Umm... Manta isn't even SWO's best coaster.

I saw pictures that park employee's are riding today! The coaster looks fantastic - I think it may be one of the best B&M Megas under 300'.

I should have phrased it this way... For me personally, and my tastes, I'll take Sea World over Disney anyday! However, that's because of their awesome roller coasters, including my beloved Kraken, and not really because of the animals, which I usually skip. However, I look forward to having a more well rounded experience at Sea World in the future, taking my kids, because I think they will enjoy it, and I always enjoy anything I'm doing with my kids!
