I don't know what I was expecting, but that is one hell of a first drop! Wow. I miss living three hours from Carowinds, but I don't think I will have a problem taking the longer road trip this summer

At the beginning when they announced Fury325 I was not that excited because I was disappointed that they did not give it to a neglected park like Michigan's Adventure, but now I am getting more excited by each update and I do not care about how Fury325 got sent to Carowinds instead of other neglected Cedar Fair parks. Too bad I live 13 hours from the park, but I can always fly there next summer!

I don't think thats an example of "neglect", it would make no sense to put a ride like this at MA. I think they just don't want to overgrow that park, or it will be the next Geauga Lake.

 

On topic though, that lift looks insanely massive. Probably due to angle, as I'm more used to MilF's lift, Skyrush, and I305, but even so, it looks HUGE.

MiA is not neglected. It has a smaller market, so it's a smaller park with less rides. Dorney, WoF, VF, and CGA aren't neglected either. Just because Cedar Fair doesn't add large rides to every park every year doesn't mean the park is neglected.

Yes. Surprising as it may be, Fury 325 is scheduled to open on March 28th, 2015.
