jray21
Didnt know where else to post this. I'm going to the TPR event but thought it would be fun to go to Knotts the day before on saturday. Will it be too busy at Knott's because of their Solace event, or will it be like a normal day? Sorry, didnt know who else to ask. Just want to know if everyone thinks Saturday at Knotts would be too busy, or if the event at Knotts won't affect the crowds.
robbalvey
^ I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. --Robb
Doombugger
If your question is if KBF will be busy on a Saturday the answer is yes. Don't let it bother you though, there are not so many attractions there that even on a busy day you can't do everything you please.

socalMAN123
^ Hi! Welcome to the site! As far as I am concerned, to participate in the full event, you should register beforehand in the TPR Store. If you cannot pay over PayPal, then you can pay in cash the day of the event. But you should probably sign-up you and your friends ASAP. ---Brent

Incognito
Hello all, Just spent my entire life savings (not really) to fly in from Dallas to go to this grand little event called West Coast Bash. I look forward to meeting some of ya'll. I'll be the guy who's walking around, acting like he's lost.

Mechanic
We're staying in Simi Valley the night before WCB. Yahoo maps lists the travel time to Magic Mountain at just over 1/2 an hour. Is that realistic for driving early on a Sunday morning? I was pretty much figuring on leaving about an extra 15 minutes early just in case, but I'd hate to find out when it's too late that it actually takes longer than I'm anticipating. I've found that driving time estimates for southern California are NOT EVEN CLOSE to being accurate a majority of the time. Any insight from the locals on what to expect in the way of traffic coming that way would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
du88leaa
well i think if u leave like around 7 15 u will prob beat the traffic so ya
Doombugger
From Simi Valley to Valencia I would give it 35 minutes. There should not be any signifigant traffic on the 118 or 5 that morning.

And a Sunday that just happens to be daylight savings time. All the families will be rushing out of the house thinking their late for church only to arrive an hour early. Best to err on the way of caution. I'd leave at least 2 hours early just in case. I'm driving from Burbank. So I'll probably leave at 5am PSTDST as well. Incognito
My friend told me that Sunday was going to be daylight savings time. Great! So technically, I'm gaining about an hour by leaving Dallas on Saturday. I'm staying at a hotel by LAX, but I don't know about leaving at 5am just to make it to SFMM. Maybe 6:00 or 6:30am at the earliest.
