A few pictures of fireball: http://thegravitygroup.com/gravitycast/lets-roll/

Also if you look in the background here you'll see that the dive machine seems almost complete, except for the first drop. And if you look here you can see the mega lite, that seems to be close to completion too Still seems like they got a very long way to go on the rest of the park though!

So the best wooden (This) and steel (iSpeed for sure!) coasters being built this year are being build out of the states....It's just not fair! But every time I see more of this all I can think is yet another tgg masterpiece

^ What about Terminator Salivation? Prowler? LSHoF? Manta? HR3? Not to mention Quassy's getting a Meteor-sized GG woodie that looks pretty good. Nowhere near Voyage or Fireball-sized, but still a fun-looking coaster.

All those coasters look very good to me and they're all in US parks.

What's this "Quassy's getting a Meteor-sized GG woodie" that you speak of? Any links?

Time to decipher 1 by one: Termy: looks fun, but in reality it's just a standard gci with barely any airtime

Prowler: May give it a run for its money, but lacks the might of this ride, and this one seems almost as twisty, it just doesnt follow terrain

Dback: Just behemoth with a splash down (before I get killed for saying that it has almost the exact same elements throughout, and it's just ups and downs without twists which really make rides more "unpredictable/surprising"

Manta: definitely a superb, but without scenery (to even it out) it'd be pretty tame like most flyers

HRRR: Pretty cool, but no launch like ispeed!

Quasy: Just a kiddie woodie so it can't really compete, except in the hearts of credit whores

That said I'm sure I'd freaking love all of those rides, I just find that Fireball and iSpeed will be the best of their kinds this year

Here's my opinion...

Judging by past reviews of GCI's (I've never been on one myself so I can't officially judge) they have been very positive. Terminator is no exeption. The ride looks amazingly fun and the huge structure makes this ride look like the American equivalent of Fireball.

From what I've heard, Prowler my be the new Beast.

There's only so much B&M will do with their hypers unfortunately. I don't think they will try any new, twisty elements on any of their hypers anytime soon. Diamondback looks awesome and reviews have been fairly positive.

Manta has an amazing theme! I think that even without the theme it could be an awesome coaster.

HR3 looks like Fireball's steel equivalent.

Like I said before, Quassy's coaster is more of a Meteor-style woodie, not a Voyage/Hades/RF2 style one.

Overall I love the way Fireball looks and I really can't wait to see the rest of the park when it opens.

Huh???

I've been on both coasters and I don't see much similarity in the lay outs.
