arrowfanman Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Wow, that's a mighty generous offer from SFMM! I'm still amazed! I think that's great! I hope to see as many people there as possible! -Jahan
socalMAN123 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Wow! That sounds really cool! I'm even more excited for this now than before! As of right now, I'm 75% sure that I'll be there. ---Brent
TheRealTinkerbell Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Oh, that is SO cool. I'm so glad I RSVP'd already. I can't believe SFMM would do all of that.
RCFreak Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I'm so there! And not just because I'm in the DVD!
Nrthwnd Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 That is amazing. I am so *(#%^* I live so far away. Have a great time doing (and seeing) everything, all of you who get to do this!
BarryH Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Does this by any chance mean that Coaster Expedition Volume 10 will cover the Japan and Korea trips? Coaster Expedition Vol. 10 will probably be the Midwest trip and other assorted U.S. parks (Boardwalk Bullet, Florida parks, etc.). Coaster Expedition Vol. 11 will probably be the Red Dawn Awesome Japan and Korea trip.
jedimaster1227 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 ^That leaves room for even more volumes following this coming Summer's tours! I'm placing my order as soon as possible for Volume 9! I really wish I could make it over to California for this party, but the kids in Orlando start up school again on Monday, so it would be difficult to get over there and back in time...
robbalvey Posted January 5, 2008 Author Posted January 5, 2008 Yeah, Barry is right...there will be 3 Coaster Expedition volumes this year, fairly close back-to-back. I'd say the schedule will go something like: Coaster Expedition 9 - Jan 21st Coaster Expedition 10 - End Fed/Early March Coaster Expedition 11 - Mid to end of April There will also be another Jiggidy Johnson and JimmyBo DVD coming out as well! --Robb
coasterjunkie91350 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Ill be there but it depends on if im working on that weekend or not but ill rsvp as soon as i know
BeatleBen Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 You have me sold! I hope to see some of my other trip peeps there.
Jhcbiinoc Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 What already promised to be a cool event before this latest news just got even better! Look forward to seeing you guys there.
CoasterCrazy88 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 This sound even better now! I can't wait till the 19th! ----Antonio
BarryH Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 I really wish I could make it over to California for this party, but the kids in Orlando start up school again on Monday, so it would be difficult to get over there and back in time... Be like Ryan King...that kid never goes to school and is always on some TPR trip.
UniversalGSHo22 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 So... I was thinking that maybe if I got one of those Super Cool TPR Hoodies I could Transport myself to Magic Mountain from Orlando.....
Mozart67 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Sounds like a great time! My concert on the 18th and 19th has been unfortunately postponed to Feb 7-10 (4 days is better than 2!) but I'm still a little strapped for flying miles. I'd be happy to send a gift in my absence though (wine, vodka, my wife wants to knit KidTums an outfit, etc.) so let me know what would be appropriate. Thanks for the invite and ride your brains out for me! Scott
Goliath513 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Is the one-on-one time with the park president a question & answer time?
socalMAN123 Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 ^ That would be my guess. Also, I think it will be before the viewing in Magic Moments and after our tour. Just my guess though. ---Brent
Jakemeister Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I so wish I could make it also. I love the Florida life but those perks are just way to awesome, and I've never been to SF:MM. We should have a Orlando meet up or something lol..
XLRBR Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Darn it! With my grandparents living in Northern Cali now, and my mom not willing to take me, I won't be able to make it until I get my license (hopefully this year!) or become an experienced driver. Oh well...I sure do miss these things though .
XII Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Wow. Count me in. I'm still shocked that TPR gets all these special advantages.
FitchCoaster Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I wish my parents would be willing to take me up there.. I can't wait ill' I can drive in a few more months. I could at the moment, I'd be going for sure. It sounds like so much fun, I hope you guys have a great time! One day.. I shall attend a TPR event.
PURE Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 If anyone can't decide whether they wanna go or not, one thing I know, when Magic Mountain gives complimentary lunches, they're pretty damn legit. At the Tatsu opening they had free cheeseburgers, chicken strips, fries, sodas, and The Official Drink of TPR, Vault Icees. All for the taking, as much as you wanted. So if you're on the wall deciding if you wanna go or not, maybe that'll sway you! I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, and I have a couple questions (I scanned the first post and didn't see anything about these, sorry if they've already been asked): How many people are we allowed to bring? Whens the latest we can RSVP? Thanks for gettin this ready for us Robb! I'm sure a good time will be had by all!
robbalvey Posted January 7, 2008 Author Posted January 7, 2008 ^ There really isn't a limit as to how many people you can bring, but I'd say if there is any more than 4 in your party, contact me about it. I think we'll only be able to have about 50 people total attend. Your can RSVP up until the last minute if needed, but we'd appreciate if you can let us know at least a couple of days in advance so we can get a number to SFMM and we know how much food to order. --Robb
coasterjunkie91350 Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Robb ill be there i just got to get the day off so looking forward to hearing your xmas stories when i see you take care and god bless
coastercrazed49 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Maybe with Global Warming will get Massachusetts flooded and disconnect itself from the U.S and float next to Calafonia that way I can go.
