Garet
There are plenty of parks that I've been to, large and small, that I would absolutely go to again even if they were exactly the same as they were several years ago. Exactly, I know I bring this point up a lot but look at the Korean parks, they've all had family additions and smaller rides here and there but their last big coasters were 2003 for Lotte World with Atlantis and 2008 with T Express for Everland. Granted they are year round parks which up the attendance but they only have 2 big coasters each and their attendance generally still increases each year. (this year may see a decrease due to MER's though)

(this year may see a decrease due to MER's though) As many of you probably know by now from reading my signature, Canada's Wonderland is my home park. I'm still going to go regardless of what (if anything) is added to the park! Canada's Wonderland could definitely go a few years without adding anything new and they'd still possibly have the highest attendance record for a seasonal park in North America. I don't think it's just the rides that bring people back, but it's mostly how you're treated by the staff that counts. I know I wouldn't go back to a park that has rude staff, no matter how many new rides they add each year. Luckily, Canada's Wonderland has amazing staff that make you feel welcomed and comfortable at the park, which always makes my visits highly enjoyable! BuffaloWingRider
I don't really care about that stuff actually, unless the staff is rude or careless. It doesn't really make or break a park for me. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. Luckily all the parks I've been to so far, I haven't met any rude staff. So, it's not really an issue for me but, apparently, there are parks like that out there. Johnlloyd
Interesting.... That was in response to someone who had asked about Ziz. Also, that image can be easily found on Google Images. It may lead to something but, I'm not keeping my hopes too high at the moment.
MiABeta
Maybe ziz will be a B&M strata coaster. Think about It: Behemoth is a hyper, Leviathan is a giga and then with Ziz being a strata it would round off the idea of height.
ytterbiumanalyst
I thought we had already established that Ziz is a 500 foot inverted flying Aquatrax Polercoaster?

Think about It: Behemoth is a hyper, Leviathan is a giga and then with Ziz being a strata it would round off the idea of height. Well CP got a giga in 2000, and 3 years later they got a strata and if that pattern kept going Cedar Point would have installed an 800+ foot coaster last year. It's funny how our brains find patterns so easily isn't it? JK I know you were joking? Were you? It's hard to tell
nicman
Plus there would be no room for a strata coaster considering if it was the layout of TTD or Kingdaka.

coasterbill
I just meant that CP had a complete coaster collection after they got gatekeeper (in my opinion). And that CW could use one more coaster to have a solid coaster collection. PS: You have 16 Coasters

BuffaloWingRider
Being a little more than brutally honest: yes they have 16 coasters, but only a couple aren't vekoma/arrow garbage. CP has a dozen world class coasters so these parks are very unequal though they both have a similar quantity of coasters.
TorontoFCfan
Well, it's posted on Screamscape we may get a B&M Invert....
nicman
^I hope it's not a 2018 project if we will get a invert, but it would be nice to remove flight deck. http://www.screamscape.com/html/canada-s_wonderland.htm

CedarFair1
Went to the park today to get some testing photos and videos in and ended up seeing some really interesting things; 1. There's a plot of land right next to Wonderland Drive that I goto once a week to get pictures and suddenly today there were about 60 red stakes all over this plot of land. This land looks perfect for a hotel or more parking. It can't be a ride as it's very close to the houses. 2. There are still a ton of construction trailers there and two crates and still some land work near minebuster. The land I am talking about littered in stakes as of this week. land work land work crates and trailers there's about 10 construction trailers there.. That's a lot of trailers. signs of tree removal
CedarFair1
considering accommodations is listed on there for 2017 and 2019 I think we could be the 2019 hotel in that plot of land.

CedarFair1
^What about testing for Skyhawk? Any footage? EVERYTHING in the park was testing and had the trains on the track except for Skyhawk lol I stayed for 45 minutes.
Philrad71
^^^ I would love to see a hotel built onsite as there are not a ton of options in the area without driving a few miles. It would be great to be able to just walk in and out of the park like you can when staying at the on-sight hotels at CP. The last time we visited CW, I believe we were about 4 or 5 miles away at a Comfort Inn - and it was a bit on the seedy side.
canadianparkfan
^Accomidations have gotten better in the last few years. Lots of new hotels in the area. The park may have trouble competing.
