From what I'm hearing now, the Half Pipe should be complete within the next four weeks...and vertical construction on the EF should start in 1.5-2 weeks.

It's 1 am here in Alabama and I just noticed the first section of track for Airbender. Pretty cool to see.

Now 6:36 and some track in place. Here are the pics for posterity. Just lucked out and happen to catch them putting things up last night/this morning. Sticky Nicky and Looty who have been following along, this is for you.

Track off to the side.

I have been waiting for this moment for a long time. I don't like how the track and supports have the exact same shade of blue. Hopefully, Euro-fighter construction will begin before New Years Eve.

You know, with an official credit count of 5, Nickelodeon Universe can have bragging rights of most coasters in an indoor amusement park - Galaxyland, the next largest indoor park, has 3 coasters, although Mindbender is much taller.

^ From what I've seen, they only work from late at night until about 6 am on Airbender. Seems Spongebob gets the work during the day, while Airbender gets the work at night.

Man, I can't believe I'm getting excited about bloody Nick construction. Oy! And yet, I can't stop watching...

I have been in and out of the mall quite a bit in the past week finishing up all of my Christmas shopping and it's amazing how this thing is coming along.

The half of the halfpipe (okay, I was really just looking for an excuse to say that phrase...) they have constructed is HUGE. It goes so close to the ceiling, it's nuts. If it were moved about a foot in any direction, it simply wouldn't fit because of the way the skylights are positioned. It certainly looks impressive.

No SpongeBob track or supports yet...but the area is definitely prepped and ready for it from what I can tell.

I was there about an hour and a half before closing tonight at the park itself was deader than dead. I really wish they'd do something about the annual pass situation to sway my decision about not buying one. The new additions would've been tough for me to pass up on a night like tonight!

Looks like it is done, or almost done anyways. Looty said that they would begin Spongebob construction next week or the week after. Avatar still has about three weeks to go though due to LSM staters being aligned correctly.

One Great thing about Wicked was that Zierer Mounted the LSM Stators to the Launch Track Sections before Shipping. That saved a lot of construction time. I wonder why Intamin Doesn't do the Same Thing?

im really looking forward to riding this. Its a classic eurofighter. I think it will be totally different coaster experience compared to mystery mine.

Sorry for bad typing still getting used to iphone. my sister kicked me off my real computer.

MOA is turning into a nice little park, I went on my first half pipe on Christmas eve and it wasn't bad, and a Eurofighter to boot, another great addition.

MORE TRACK!!!

This morning at around 8:00, workers were unloading a container with Spongebob track and supports. the track is an aqua-ish color and appeared to be track for the station and the first turn out of the station. With vertical construction finished on Avatar, look for Spongebob construction to begin very soon.

I think it would because of the quality and insurance. Im going off on a branch here but here is what I think:

Regular Intamin coasters don't have staters because of the chance of them breaking during shipping. Wicked probably had some sort of insurance on them, and plus they were very behind on schedule building. So it could have been a last minute 'risky' decision. But that's just me.
