coastercrazy216 Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 Update please. I am becoming very impatient, just kidding, but still please give us an update.
coasterdude5 Posted March 20, 2008 Author Posted March 20, 2008 Aloha! Hershey has released a sleek new logo for the overall resort. I got a special nighttime preview tour of the hotel last night. Lighting is stil being installed. The rep from Nickelodeon assured me the crowd levels will be controlled - you won't be seeing this place too packed. Lots of slides going everywhere. The front of the hotel is still undergoing lighting-related work. Guests will drop their bags off here before heading to the parking lot. Malama pono - Take Care!
kraken613 Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 This is awsome! Its obvious how hard you work on this stuff!
BRTeller Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I love it, I love the detail especially, like the back wall being sponge bob bikini bottom thing, over by the slides.
coasterdude5 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Aloha! Work has officially begun on ZooAmerica! Some animals are already being brought in! The black panthers were released into their exhibit today. This is the facade for the Lion / Tiger show. Check back soon.
AlmereStars Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 they should invent lifts for the slides looks really cool, great job with the lighting. If I where you, I should place a red/brown colored light in the left area, where its a little dark
kraken613 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Well this is the first Zoo ive seen anyone make! If anyone can do it you can CoasterDude!
coasterdude5 Posted March 23, 2008 Author Posted March 23, 2008 Aloha! Training has begun for the lion and tiger shows. It turns out they will be separate shows, not combined like we once thought. The horse exhibit will be the first you see as you enter the zoo. The small kids' area is beginning to come together. The area will feature two veteran rides from Hawaiian Escape: the carousel and Duma-Paka. Both opened with the original park over 55 years ago! Check back soon for more.
kraken613 Posted March 23, 2008 Posted March 23, 2008 Wouldnt it be amazing if this turned into a real park again! Looks really nice!
DBru Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Very cool. I think the resort will be amazing once the zoo is complete!
coastercrazed49 Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 This looks awesome. Even though its not a full fledge amusement park it still looks great. Can't see what else you will add.
JuanSe_Colombia Posted March 24, 2008 Posted March 24, 2008 Looks pretty good. The Logo is pretty cool with that signs of Cocoa and chocolate looks cool! The nickelodeon suites looks greats ! Keep going nice work.

coasterdude5 Posted March 25, 2008 Author Posted March 25, 2008 ^ Thanks I felt the logo worked nicely as well.
coasterdude5 Posted March 26, 2008 Author Posted March 26, 2008 Aloha! Duma-Paka will now be known as GardenRunner. This will be THE ride to go on when the zoo opens. The ride is known for its extended absences. When at HHE, the ride debuted with the park's initial opening - it closed and then reopened in the Hershey Grove section of the park. It then closed again and later reopened in its final location as Duma-Paka. Check back soon for more!
the ghost Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This park is still so awesome. You are awesome also. The kiddie coaster looks like fun.
Reon Posted March 26, 2008 Posted March 26, 2008 Great to see some vet rides from the origional park. I'd love to see more come back, but I don't know how much would show up in a zoo.
coasterdude5 Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 Aloha! Here's a look from one of the many viewing galleries the exhibits will feature. Horses! Here's a look at GardenRunner's queue. I guess they expect the ride to have a long line during the peak summer months. Gotta have these at any zoo! Check back soon for more!
DBru Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Hmm... I like what you've done, I really do! BUT, I'm just afraid that you can't put enough detail into a zoo for it to live up to your standards. RCT3's exhibits just don't give you enough to really detail everything, like what we usually see from you. I'm not saying it looks bad, in fact, I'm saying it looks really good! It's just not great... *yet*. But we all know that if anyone can pull it off, its you! Keep building!
rckrazy06 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Ummm, A Giraffe in a North American Wildlife zoo? Works for me.
coasterdude5 Posted April 1, 2008 Author Posted April 1, 2008 Update Year 56 It was a dream. It was all a bad dream. The hotel. The indoor waterpark. The zoo. The parking lot. None of it ever happened! I awoke this morning crying just because I was so happy our Hawaiian Escape gem was still alive and standing. The park was crowded as the gates opened for the new season! The ferris wheel was bright as always. Loco was running as a Leopard train flew by. Hey, it's Excavation! As I was riding The Voyager I noticed some track! Could this finally be Project Emerald we've all been waiting for? Solar Flare was looking great as always. The sun seemed especially bright today. More soon! april fools!
upside down Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 You evil person. I guess this parks still alive and kicking.
DBru Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 This doesn't make sense... The rides have already been distributed! (Right?)
