^ I had been planning this for a long time. Originally the park was going to end at Year 50 but I decided to extend it for five years.

Project Emerald was only a trick to keep people from thinking the park was nearing its end. (4 years without a new coaster!?!?)

Evil b*tch.

If you want a ride off of the sale list, P.M. me with the name of the ride, the park it will be going to, and how soon you can have it operating.

Unlike previous times, this will not be a first-come, first-serve basis. After enough entries are made, I will choose which park I feel the ride will fit best in.

YOU ARE MUCH MORE LIKELY TO BE GIVEN THE RIDE IF THE PARK IS ALREADY OPERATING.

After being selected you will need to give me your email so I can send you the track file. You may not recreate the ride on your own.

Deconstruction

I never thought I would have to use my "connections" to get inside the park to take its last pictures.

Surf was removed first due to its relocation to a "nearby" park.

Tropicana Tower will also be following suit.

Dead. Empty. Never to see the crowds of the summer again.

Mt. Hershey Rapids, Kissing Tower, Twizzler Turnover, and Surf have all been removed.

I was told Tantalus and SunWheel are next.

November/30/Year 55. LAST DAY! Trip Report.

I woke up that day, Crying. I just had a great dream that Hawiian Escape was saved! And me and my brother went to the park on opening day Year 56 and rode Solar Flare and Excavation. Both being my 2 favorite rides. But I knew that this would not happen. And today would be the last day I would ride them.

2 hours later Me, My Brother and my Mom were on our way to the park. we were silent the whole time. When we got there, I took one glance at the legendary Hawian Escape Volcano, And started crying my eyes out! people were staring, but I didn't care! First we went over to Solar Flare for one last ride. When we got on, we saw that the station was decorated with posters and signs saying "R.I.P" and "Goodbye Hershey!" Me and my brother were Screaming and shouting like girls just for the heck of it!

For the next 11 hours, we rode every ride at least once. Solar Flare and Excavation, 5 times and every other coaster 3 times. When we took our ride on Solar Flare for the last time, The ride op came out and said "everyone, this the the last ride ever on Solar Flare, Please make it a good one and scream as loud and insane as possible. And may this ride rest in peace!" We all cheered as he dispached the train.

At 12:00 Midnight, when the park closed for good, Everyone in the park met at the volcano for the farewell show. The owner of Hershey said this...

"When this park started 55 years ago, It was a small park with few amusements. Over the years, It Grew! During the thrill age it reached 9 coasters! Including the worlds largest floorless coaster, Oronga. But now, its time to say goodbye. We all, including me, have special memories at this place, and all of these memories will live on in the hearts and minds of us all. we will end Hawiian Escape with a bang. Goodbye Hawaiien Escape and thanks for the memories!

After that, A spectaculer firework display started and continued with music playing from loudspeakers. When it ended, everyone was escorted out of the park for the last time. Me and my brother were crying all the way home. Goodbye Hawaiian Escape, May you Rest In Peace.
