apollo210
Well its not a roller coaster but its the Boston Tea Party. The first time I rode it It was amazing! A feeling of speed going down the first drop followed by a huge splash that left me soaked for the rest of the day! The secondtime, it hurted my balls! Maybe it was because I rode it in the front insted of the back row, but still, it killed!
Tanks4me05
The only ride that this happened to me was on Trailblazer at Hersheypark. The first time I rode it, I thought it was really fun, but that was back in 2000, and I never rode anything that size before. The next time I rode it three years later, the line was about an hour long, it was hot out, and I was pretty bored by it. (I rode Thunderhawk, our dear departed Hercules, the day before and Sooperdooperlooper a couple hours before my "re ride") It was kind of slow, and there was only one mildly thrilling element. I might have been moderately enthused by it if the line wasn't so long, in my opinion it's not worth more than a 20 minute wait unless you are really desperate. VegasCoaster
The Boss at SFSTL. Rode it once in the very early morning in the front and then went back an hour or so later and it beat the snot out of me. Haven't had a good ride on it since. I blame Six Flags maintenence and the Gerstlauer trains.
DATman
The Beast, surprisingly. It was just amazing in the front, but I cringed in pain after riding in the very back...
KoasterKidz67
When I was at SFKK I rode twisted twins or whatever they cal them early in the day and I loved them. Went back five hours later and they sucked!!!! Nuff Said
Scaparri
The Boss at SFStL. It was so amazing during it's opening year, and then I went back two years later and discovered that it had become quite rough and brake raped. The same deal happened with Raging Bull. Raging Bull is still a great ride, but nothing like what it was during it's opening year.
matteocrepaldi
For me it happened with Sequoia Adventure: the S&S Screaming Squirrel at Gardaland, Italy. The opening year I liked it; it was fun and I also bought the onride photo. Last year I went to Gardaland and I rode it a couple of times but I didn't really enjoy it. It felt like nothing particular at all.
Jogumpie
My first launched coaster was Superman: The Ride (now Xpress) in Walibi World. It was really awesome, but when I visited it 2 or 3 years later (this spring) it actually really sucked.
coasterlover420
For me, that would have to be X. The first time I rode it, it was disorienting and fun because it was something completely new for me. This past summer when I went back, it was really rough and seemed too short.
