COASTER FREAK 11
Is that part of the new Harry Potter land to the left of Stu's Disco? Yes, they are built back to back. And the transition is one of the most jarring things I have ever seen. Hopefully there's room to plant a mass amount of trees there to soften it up. Jew
^Well, Universal is still a movie studio. So it kind of fits that theme where sets back to back to each other are completely different.

bostonlva
The LA Times reports that the new Simpsons area of Universal Studios Hollywood is expected to soft open starting this Saturday. While the area apparently wont have an official grand opening until sometime between late April and mid-May, you can expect to see the new Simpsons area testing, adjusting and training all the staff between now and then with a variety of tasty new dishes, Buff Beer and your chance to drink a Flaming Moe of course. CPmillenia94
Does anyone know what caused hulk to stall mid ride a couple days ago? They say it was a technical malfunction. Any update on that?

The new options are one with blackouts or one without blackouts. No parking options available.

KBrylczyk
While it looks nice and all, I mean, it's just food and drink. It's also for something that's 10 years too late, honestly. Am I missing something here?
Jew
^I would say that even though the Simpsons is past its prime, it's still very exciting to see it all brought to life. You can't help but geek out a little if you are a Simpsons fan. Plus the food and beer are actually good, something else USH really needed. cfc
^Agreed. I quite watching the Simpson regularly a few years ago, but even at their worst, they were usually better than Family Guy at its best. Heck, I think Springfield deserves to be its own theme park--and it should include this:
DBJ
Great photos! The area did turn out quite nice, and a massive improvement over what was there before. Love the now unified theme of the area, pretty much a mish mash before.
Goooose
The new Simpsons land/facades/eateries are across from the simpsons ride in the old Back to the Future building repurposed as Crustyland. So while enthusiasts may be looking at this puzzled, because it was a land addition without a ride, new visitors will see a land anchored by an in-franchise E-ticket. A complete Simpsons land and Wizarding World.
