Trends, some people love them, some hate em, and all of us go "WTF!" 20 years later.

So, what trends seem dominant at your school?

Ripped Jeans and Patched jeans have been popular.

Brand names- Mostly American Eagle, Hollister (majority), Hurley, and some A&F.

I think thats it for now, nothing unusual though.

Bleh..mainstream..

I don't give into that kind of stuff lol. I do what *I* want to do.

Some of the clothes the 'popular' kids are wearing looks pretty weird IMHO...I'm sure most people say the same about me though!

Here, (well at my bro's school) it's all about tight emo jeans, converse, Vans classic slip-ons, and one of the most unusual trends of all: (and those are this way, please don't take offense.) Last year, tons of kids were becoming gay/lesbian...I've seen kids go from liking opposite sex one day to liking the same sex the next day. These are kids...too young to understand what being gay/lesbian is...they just think it's something new and different.

Back in High School, we really didn't have any trends.

There was the cut class, go to dunkin donuts, and get a tan on the beach trend... but I don't think that really counts.

We were pretty boring.

I so remember the Pokemon rage...They actually let us play them at school until everyone started to get their cards ripped off or making quick trades in class.

I do remember a Yo-yo rage that I kinda started back in the 6th grade. Just one day, I brought my yo-yo to school and showed my friend who just bought one how to do some tricks and next thing I know, everyone starts bringing them. A month later, the teacher got a huge pack of the Duncan yo-yos for the class and put on a 'how to yo-yo' video...we later went outside to practice the tricks.

The chciks at my college are obsessed with earing those obscenely short-short-short-not-even-really-there-could-have-made-them-just-by-cutting-the-legs-and-crotch-off-my-jeans Abercrombie/ Hollister jeans skirts.

Hahaha... I say that like I don't have one of those skirts! But in my defense I only have it because I used to work there!
