emo teenage rock

1. They're not emo

2. They're not rock

3. They actually PLAY their instruments unlike most other bands.

And they're unbelivably good. Although MTV ruined them and played there songs and now you hear little 5 year old girl singing it wherever you go. It really pisses me off. I wish MTV was never created. If you only know I Write Sins Not Tradgedies and But It's Better If You Do, then your not a real fan, and you should go...fall off an Intamin rocket thats restraints failed.

Um WOW, they are amazingness. They do play their instruments very well, and the songs that arn't popular are the greatest. Only if you others couldnt judge on I Write Sins Not Tragedies. Go to youtube and search Lying is the Most Fun a Girl Can Have Without taking her clothes off, and you will see their greatness!

I know about them...think they're bad...too many people say they love them but only have heard one song. You don't have to be good to play 5 notes. Listen to RHCP. Michael (Flea) can play the bass. He's super talented.

I love them and new all of there songs BEFORE they hit mainstream and MTV.

First off, there's a couple incosistencies here. Did you see Patd before their headlining tour? They didn't even play half their instruments, just sing over some pre-recorded parts(badly at that.) Also, panic at the disco had like one tour they opened before they started getting radio play, and I highly doubt anyone remembers that.

...I should probably off myself now for knowing so much about panic at the disco

I really like them. Every song.

1. They arent emo one bit. They dont talk about killing yourself, being sad, or emo stuff like that. Its upbeat stuff.

2. Its sinds not sins.

I Write Sinds Not Tradgedies isnt my favorite song, right now its "Honey there is a reason these tables are numbered, you just havent thought of it yet"

Yeah, thats the title of the song, its pretty good too! Panic may *sound* like Fall Out Boy, but if you must know, the singer from Fall Out Boy (I hate that band...) signed Panic! to a record label.

I think all of us who grew up in the early '80s with MTV sorta hear what you're saying. Does MTV actually play entire videos anymore though? Heck, I'll be honest, I literally haven't turned to that channel in maybe 5 years now! I think of it more as the Soap Network for teens. But seriously, it's creation and first 15 years or so did give us the opportunity to find some great bands that may have been lost in radioland had they not had the mainstream exposure....think U2, Nirvana, Poison (right, Ted? ) etc.

I'll say this about Panic!, I've heard several of their songs, and I'm just not sure about them. For me, they fit into the same category as System of a Down in a sense that I like the lead singer's voice, they've got a unique style, there's some potential there, but what good is it if I only like about 25% of each song? I guess that's the best way I can put it.
