SharkTums
Theme Park Review's Summer Party! Hey all! With Tatsu open, a DVD just released, and a new DVD in the works, it's time for another TPR Meet! We will be previewing part of our new ‘UK Tour & More’ DVD! So if you didn’t get to go on the trip, but want to see the shenanigans first, this is your chance! Here are the details! Date: Saturday, August 19 Time: 9:30am – SFMM Gates for the ‘running of the bulls’ to Tatsu! 1pm – Optional trip to Hurricane Harbor to cool off from the hot August weather! 6pm - Robb & Elissa's for plenty of Food, Drinks, Games, Prizes, and a preview of the NEW UK Trip DVD: "Coaster Expedition Volume 8!" Where: Our place is less than 2 miles from Six Flags, on the same road so it’s easy and convenient! RSVP by August 16th by sending an email to robbalvey@themeparkreview.com and let us know your full name, your fourm name, and how many people are in your party. You MUST be a member of TPR's forum to attend the party. Any questions post them here or send us an email! Please email robbalvey@themeparkreview.com now if you think you’ll be attending. Final RSVP’s need to be received by Wednesday, August 16! Maps and directions will be provided once you have RSVP’d. This is very important as we have a limit to how many people we can accommodate! RSVP's should include your name, names of others who will be attending with you, and a valid email address. Anyone who has come to our parties in the past can attest to how much fun they are! But be aware that any rude or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. You will be asked to leave immediately. 9) I still have more questions, how can I ask them? – If you have any questions or comments please post them to this thread or email them to robbalvey@themeparkreview.com

vjgx
Hmm, sounds like fun. I was planning on having a trip to SFMM sometime in late August or early September, so I may (or may not) be able to go...
jasper2
Too bad I live in South Carolina, you guys seem to always have a ball. I bet your parties are awesome. How could they not be with food. new coaster DVD, and video games? Maybe I'll make it out your way one day.
darklingscribe
I probably can make it, and might bring a few friends along as well. They both have season passes I only need to find out if they are willing to shell out enough money to split a hotel room.
CoasterFanatic
I only wish that we lived a little closer. The Alvey's always throw the greatest parties.

socalMAN123
NOOOOO! I get back from Orlando that night (9 PM) so I won't be able to make it. Elissa, will there be another meet before January 7th (when my SF pass expires)? ---Brent
coaster1
Damn airfare is too pricey .. *sigh* I'll still come if we are getting ERT on Robb tho .. everyone would love that!
DerekRx
If my ride on Robb will count as a credit, then I'm totally booking the flight right now! Looking into flight now on American, beauty! The times fit perfectly, but stills boy its expensive. Its probably worth flying out for, I've never been there for one of your parties, and I want to ride Tatsu before the park is paved (not even counting on getting on Deja Vu anymore). Who cares if I'm flying back out to SoCal on September 3rd. Lift and wind may make the flight there a little bit longer, but that's just more time to sleep before having to be back at work! If my work schedule permits me to leave early to make the flight, I'll be there so put me down as a "maybe"!
Louise
Wes's Aerosmith post has been demoted in my hierarchy of best posts ever. Just thought I'd randomly state that. Oh by the way, I can't make the party. Unless I win the lottery, or anybody wants to start a "Bring Louise to California" charity!

Nrthwnd
Looks like a great time, Elissa & Robb. Wish I could join you. Not as many miles away - only 3458593, hmmmph.
jamesdillaman
I might actually be able to go if I can find someone who will let me sleep a night in their house, and get a ride from and back to the airport... You see, I have no money (because I'm paying out the nose for Julia's pretty ring) and since I'd have to pay for the park, I couldn't afford a hotel, too. If anyone would be willing, though, I'd fork out a buddy pass for them (1 round trip yield-fare ticket on Delta Airlines on any domestic flights, prices range from $30-$280, and it's based primarily on mileage.) Let me know if anyone's interested, if not, then I hope everyone there has fun. -James Dillaman
DATman
Rigt now it's a 50-50 whether I can go or not. If I can, my dad and maybe my brother will come with me, but only to the parks bit, as it's one of the few weeks my mom is home (she spends 2 weeks up in NY, and 1 here for work)
