Just to let you know. Those planning to go to Magic Mountain and ride Twisted Colossus, you'll be disappointed. This is from some inside information. One of the lift chains snapped recently. I'm sure these are custom made, so it will be closed for sometime - sadly. Also there is a sign at the entrance saying it's closed.

Twisted Colossus is now open. It could not have been a broken lift chain. The moose was lying!

Can confirm it was open, I was in the park today.

However, I did notice that Riddler was down and a crane was over it.  Could the rumor possibly be for that instead?

No that's down for normal maintenance.

RIDE BUDDY

Anyone looking for a ride buddy for Magic Mountain or Knott's?  I just got my Prestige Pass and want to go more often then anyone I know. 

I also have some ways to help with ride waits,. so that's a nice plus.   Let me know if you are in a similar situation and would like to set up a meet at either destination.

Are we ever gonna get an announcement for that supposed family invert that's replacing Golden Bear Theater?  Or was this another "leaked Knott's giga blueprint" kind of situation?

It's more of a Six Flags cutback kind of situation. Land was cleared, signs teasing a new attraction were in the park. Maybe it's still on? Maybe Vekoma needs some more time with the design?
