  1. Woah, I wasn't expecting that. That's really too bad. I never liked him that much, but it's always sad to see a TV personality die, especially like that. My condolences to his family and friends.
  2. The lift hill is technically a launch, but it probably won't feel like it. LSM powered doesn't mean launched.
  3. OMG! I forgot about the Llama Song! I had that memorized in 7th grade! Probably the funniest, most random thing since purple ketchup.
  4. ^Is completely right. V Has a bowler hat secretly tucked away on top of a real chinchilla skeleton (Elissa isn't happy with V).
  5. You have to be familiar with the show to enjoy it. Still, it lacks a descernable plot. "Little Miss Sunshine" could be the funniest movie I've ever seen. Perfectly executed timing, great acting (even by the kids), and humor that will double you over. "Dwayne - That's your name, right? Dwayne? You want some advice? No? Well I'm going to give it to you anyway. This is a voice of experience talking. F-ck a lot of women, Dwayne. Not just one woman. A lot of women."
  6. I are Sam, but you can call me Steel.
  7. I had to do a model of a coaster for Science last year. Mine turned out really, really well. I got an A+ with 105%. It's a bobsled-like coaster loosely based on La Vibora. Took 30 hours to complete, or 10 hours a day over Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful... The obligatory layout shot. As you can see, there are two stations and a tunnel. I love how the flashlight simulates a full moon. Yes, I know the lift is crooked. THROUGH THE TREES!!!! Detail shot
  8. Derek is all "I absolutely hate EVERYONE! Yay!"
  9. You know, I haven't really thought about this much. I guess I'm straight, I mean I've had crushes before, but a lot of people think I'm gay, just because of the way I am. Gay--------Me----Straight That's about the best way I can describe it...
  10. Hahahahahahahahahaha! You cause me to giggle.
  11. ^Congratulations. First picture is the best, but none of them are anywhere NEAR as cute as my dog.
  12. I'm happy because giraffes and penguins are beautiful in spirit and amazing at Bingo.
  13. www.rcdb.com It works wonders. And yes, Expedition GeForce is 173', 11" tall.
  14. I have no classes with any of my friends all year this year. And the people who are in my classes are all drawn in by their closest friends, who, of course, are in all the same classes as they are. Worst, my schedule is the same all year, so there's pretty much no hope. Honestly, I don't even have lunch with any of my friends. On top of that, my school looks like a post office (actually I like how it looks, just setting the mood).
  15. My top ten changes pretty much daily, but here's today's version. Steel 1.) Millennium Force 2.) Patriot - WoF 3.) Apollo's Chariot 4.) Raging Bull 5.) Storm Runner Wood 1.) Avalanche - Timber Falls (Hopefully, Voyage will take over next season) 2.) Lightning Racer 3.) Hades 4.) Cyclops 5.) Outlaw - Adventureland Overall 1.) Millennium Force 2.) Patriot 3.) Avalanche 4.) Apollo's Chariot 5.) Lightning Racer 6.) Raging Bull 7.) Storm Runner 8.) Hades 9.) (Tie) Mamba 10.) (Tie) Steel Force
  16. I'll go with Vol D'Icare, but only because it's another chance to say I've been on it. If I were really picking, I'd say other and go with Wild Thing. In my book, Wild Thing is comparable to a kiddie coaster, and is therefore a kiddie hypercoaster.
  17. Oh god, its tagline is "Spin yourself high." That must be why we're at war with Iraq. They have drugs hidden in their coasters.
  18. The thing with S&S drops, though, is that they have next to no airtime. This will surprise you, but skycoasters are oftentimes safer than roller coasters. Those cords are strong. Really strong. Soooooo strong. And your harness isn't coming off. The most likely accident I can think of would be if you pulled the cord half way up or before the blue thing was completely down, but that's completely rider-caused.
  19. Valleyfair's is droppier (I think). And somehow, it still sucks beyond imagination.
  20. *coughWicked: The Ride -- Defy Gravitycough*
  21. Any ride at Mt. Olympus. For safety reasons, of course. And that hill on Cyclops is pretty darn frightening. Other than that, those new X-Coasters with the vertical lifts freak me out a little. Of course I'd ride them, but I don't like the idea of being held at that near-inverted angle without a harness. The first time I went on a SkyScraper, I was really scared. Actually, I was scared the first spin, and completely, totally freaked out for the two or three minutes we were stopped up at the top. Now they seem pretty boring to me, especially compared to Skycoasters.
  22. It's some sort of virus, people. Coasters everywhere are losing track or running too many trains at once. Even the new coasters are catching it! Poor little Patriot. OMG!
  23. If you actually think that the only good rides have death-g's, you should be banned from this site.
  24. Here's a surprising picture. http://www.rcdb.com/ig283.htm?picture=2 That parking lot is just incredible. And look at the LINE for Headspin!
