Painful or not, I'm a fan of TOGO coasters, so I hope it gets saved. And I am surprised to hear that one accident caused such a large drop in attendance, but I trust it wasn't the only factor, was it? Then again, this is Japan, and Japan has a different frame of mind, especially regarding things working properly and safely.

Getting a celebrity for a security counselor? Of course it's a publicity stunt! But... A six figure salary?! Isn't that a little bit too much? Or am I misunderstanding something? I think Alton might be making too big of a buildup... Eventually it will end up being just some kind of fancy new switch track or whatever, and we'll all go "that's what it was all about?!"

Thanks Robb! I took advantage of living in this timezone and downloaded it at way off peak hours, it works fine now! Oddly enough the file size is only 1.2 GB, and so far I havent seen it miss any bit sof video, but I'm not gonna look the gift horse in the mouth, if it works, it works! It's a great vid Robb and I apologize for everyone who's turning this into a headache for you... I hope this doesn't turn you away from the fantastic freebies you treat us to!

I downloaded it on two seperate computers, and it doesn't work on either one! Not with quicktime, not with windows media player, not even with VLC or realplayer... And it doesn't let me move it into my ipod touch! Why is that?

Hmmm... I just thought of something... It's not every day that something like this happens. I mean, in games, movies, and amusement parks concepts you often see magor world landmarks converted into amusement parks/waterparks (Namely in Rollercoaster Tycoon). But this is one of the first times that something like this actually happens! Even if said landmark was already halfway there to begin with.

Very interesting... Always nice to hear of new parks opening up! Especiallly in parts of the world that don't already have a bunch. The map is a bit hard to read, though.

That's been cancelled?! Awww man! Where/when was that announced? I searched the forum theo ther day for Dubai topics and I did not see anything about that. Dubai is starting to be such a disappointment, I mean... correct me if I'm wrong, but ever since the visitor center opened, like, what, 4-5 years ago? There hasn't been a single new occurance in Dubailand, right?

Oh my gosh... Miniature waterslide models They look small enough to be sold in gift shops! I want them, I want them, I want them!

The rollercoaster museum entrance looks creepy... Where will/was it built? Whats the deal with the snow magic thingy? That looks awesome! And that swisss ride looks VERY interesting!

^not to mention it's driving distance from Indiana Beach! Wow, the show looks SO AMAZING! Thank you for all that coverage, Robb and Elissa! The rocket ride, the Dubai waterslides, all those looping waterslides announced, new X car coasters, new premier rides coaster, cool new flats, cool waterpark expansion for IOWA... Wow! I have an incredible urge to go to next year's show, or some of the places where they build that stuff!

I really want to go to the show one day. Also I should point out... This is the first itme I ever heard of M&V! I mean, I heard of fireball and the boardwalk bullet, but this is the first time I heard they weren't built by one of the other more well known companies! Who are they, when did they surface, and how good are they in comparison to other companies? And kudos to TPR for making such a magor appearance! EDIT - Oh my gosh! Am I reading that sign right?! Are all those parks getting a looping waterslide?! Including Noah's Ark in Wisconsin Dells?! Jeez!!! Every time I start rethinking about going on the mid america trip for financial reasons something like this pops up Hmmm... I should rethink going on it more often!

Sway - a fun game perfect for ipod touch/iphone. aircoaster3d - a great coaster simulator that reminds me alot of ultimate ride. 3d coaster - a game where you play a brakeman on a not so realistic coaster, and need to get the best result. It has many versions like jurassic, haunted, etc. And you cant go wrong with the wooden labrynth.

As Robb and Elissa said, they never had a trip where at least 10 people didnt drop out. so being in 8th place might not be a guarentee, but it's certainly no reason to take yourself out of the running. jus see what goes on when march rolls around, before its your chance to take the money back. and trust me, you wanna go on a TPR trip, not a self organized one.

On the Midwest trip I went around asking people if I can ride with their kids, and when someone agreed I had to wait 45 minutes(!) in line to ride Jr. Gemini... Quite nerdy but as far as I know me and Ryan are the only ones from the trip with that credit, so yay!
