I had the chance to ride this back in the day. If I recall, they had a lever you could control the spinning motion of the car as the ride spins around. It did have ALOT of downtime, but I was fortunate to ride it each time I visited the park. MANY people just stood by to watch the ride, so the lines were never that bad at all. It was a fun ride-I actually missed it.

Exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This development takes time and I am sure Robb can elaborate more based on his experience, but I don't believe for a moment that TPS developers just wanted to finish the kickstarter campaign and put the software out the next day! People need to have patience and be assured that when the game is released (even the Beta version), people will be pleased with ALL of the effort the TPS team put into it. I am actually glad they are dotting all of the 'I's' and crossing all of the "T's"-even if it means more time needed!

That was a really good article! I've noticed that some of the CNN coverage is dying down with other news events becoming front page and with Christmas/New Years around the corner. By the start of the New Year, this topic (Blackfish vs. Sea World) will die down in the news and the only thing keeping the story alive is the bands removing themselves from the B-B&BBQ event.

Curious if FOX news or CNN will get a hold of the story first.

I believe KD was discussing of having a 3rd train added to the track. Perhaps a revamp of the block system and brake areas to accomodate the 3rd train will be part of the rehab. Perhaps the exterior mountain and que updates will happen first then focus on the 3rd train update (perhaps year 2 of the multi-year upgrades).

I bet that panel & AB switches cost a pretty penny. Pretty cool. Reminds me of the good old days working BG coasters.
