Your favorite and least favorite Bumper Cars
Jew replied to pgathriller's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I am partial to Sandblasters @ SFMM, mainly because that was my first ride I worked as a lead. And also had to show Jim Carrey the giant hole in the floor when he wondered why they were closed for his park buyout for the Bruce Almighty wrap party. -
^It's slowly getting there. Football AAU=7-on-7 passing tournament teams.

Clay Mathews started as a walk on for USC. Aaron Rodgers was a 3* QB with no other scholarship offers except from Cal. Lane Kiffin just finished a 7-6 season with a bunch of supposed 4* and 5* talent. Meanwhile Stanford has gone to three straight BCS games with a roster full of mostly 2-4* talent.

Kaepernick hasn't peaked, but he definitely made a ton of rookie mistakes he got away with because of his athleticism and arm strength. He still has to learn to see the whole field instead of checking off real quick and taking off running and not tip his passes (ESPN analysts showed a great clip of how he actually patted a certain receiver on the back numerous times leaving the huddle and proceeded to throw right to him after dropping back without looking anywhere else). Easily correctible things, but you had better believe every middle linebacker and defensive coordinator will know all of these tendencies next season. Same goes for Russell Wilson and RGIII.

Meh...he had lightning in a bottle on the cruise ship one. Should have let it be.

California Great America (CGA) Discussion Thread
Jew replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^You have to spend money to make money. Attendance obviously took a hit from Stealth being the last big ride since Gold Striker. I highly doubt we will see a Maverick clone at CGA, but if Gold Striker proves to be a hit, I don't doubt we will see another major investment in the next few years. Also, forget tearing rides out, lets start with the small things: SHADE IN THE RIDE STATIONS!!!! -
Royal Caribbean has also partnered with Mlife (MGM's players club) to offer benefits to Mlife members. Just for being a regular Mlife member, you'll get the coupon book that is normally for Royal Caribbean gold members (don't usually get that until you're 2nd sailing). If you're gold Mlife, you get drink vouchers and a comp upcharge dinner. Platinum Mlife get a free cruise!

^Speaking of mom's, the mom of the kid who wanted to commit to Arkansas might be the best story of signing day: she literally bailed on her son so he couldn't sign with Arkansas (letters of intent need the guardian's signature as well). Second best story of signing day: kid with Auburn tattoo signing with Alabama.

So I wonder what the singing bonus was at Ole Miss?

Walt Disney World Epcot Discussion Thread

Sounds delicious. Re-affirms why EPCOT is my second favorite park in the world. -
I spoke too soon. Apparently Jason Hatcher made it official he will sign with UK. And USC lost a top CB to FSU. And a DE to Texas A&M. Got to love 17-18 year old kids being put into the spotlight...tough for both them and the schools. Now USC is caught with its pants down so to speak, since all these guys went public right before signing day.

I suspect that is the case. Don't see any other reason why they would care to take the boats out and store them. -
That baby should be old enough to talk for real now!

No photos of the McDonald's there? How un-American!

^The last report I read said that he had recommitted to USC after an in-home visit from Kiffin and Oregeron...but who knows. USC did has some de-commits, mainly because of the limitations of only having 18 scholarships (thanks NCAA). The main one that they're still trying to get back is the DT kid. One guy didn't want to wait until June to enroll (one of the top rated safeties took his early enrollee spot, since that was the only way he was going to commit to USC), and another one had a torn ACL and didn't want to wait (wanted to enroll early to get a school to foot his medical bill/rehab). But since it is USC, everything makes news...no one is going to hate on Alabama for over signing and forcing kids into medical retirements/greyshirts...

Anything visible at the 4d theatre? -
Hey, USC beat UCLA...that's as good as it gets for me! Fitting how they put the exclamation point on USC's disappointing season, and then USC returned the favor by adding another bullet point to the fire Ben Howland website.

Favorite Standalone Haunts?

Sinister Pointe does seasonal events (such as X-mas, Valentines day, and other holidays) and Eli Roth's Goretorium is open year round on the Las Vegas strip. -
Bump time... We're less than a week away from the unofficial start of the 2013 season: signing day!
