Halloween Horror Nights: Reflections of Fear

I saw it and enjoyed it until the forced/terrible ending (not the wedding, but the fountain, which destroyed any sense of realism that the movie had).

Since when are purple and blue warm colors?

It is interesting to note that there are only 2 sports where 8 gold medals are even possible: Swimming and Men's (and only men's) Gymnastics. For someone to get 8 gold medals in gymnastics, he would have to win every single event that is held. All of the individuals, the all-around, and the team final. This is pretty much impossible on any level because there are so many specialized gymnasts that compete. While Michael Phelps is simply amazing, I think more credit needs to be given to the other athletes competing at the Olympics because none of them have a chance to win as many as he can. I also hate that sportscasters are looking at sliver as if it were a loss. This is pathetic and stupid because any medal is an amazing achievement that none of those radio hosts and reporters could ever hope to achieve, let alone qualify. For instance, in last night's 100m, no one focused on the fact that both the US athlete and the Tunisian (Is that who took sliver? I know he ran college track in the US) beat the Jamaican who was supposed to be the one who would upset Bolt. There was one shot of the silver medalist celebrating, and they said "He looks like he's just won gold" in a way that indicated he still lost. This isn't the mindset of most athletes competing. To them, any medal is a great accomplishment, gold just being the icing on the cake.

Police: Man Steals PS3, Says It's to Save His Family
DATman replied to BarryH's topic in Random, Random, Random
Why would anyone's family be held hostage over a PS3 of ALL things. I mean, it's not like they're hard to find... -
I really can't wait to see how NBC will try to work in Phelps every 5 minutes now that he's finished.

And Then There Were None

It's interesting to see how you've changed the backstories of some of the characters. I like the angle you are playing with the story, though I do have one or two teensy suggestions (I can't help it. Being that I'm working on the same show right now and going through character changing process myself, it makes it hard to not notice one or two things). I love that Marston hit two kids with the car instead of college students. I think it is a fantastic way to enhance his character. i do, however, feel that changing General McDonald really undermines his character. [Very minor spoilers for the book/play right here, though I don't know if coasterdude will have this in the movie] His character is sort of that wise old sage who has lived long enough to know his regrets and to see his failings. By changing his wife to the person he killed's wife, it really destroys that loving husband aspect of him. He sent one of his men, who his wife was cheating on him with, to the front liens because he wanted to be her only one. Once the soldier died, he saw the damage he had done to his wife. it makes him a very sympathetic character and one that really adds to the story because he is the only one not afraid to die. Now, i realize that you are playing up the death, and it is probably too late to change him, but for some reason i really felt that I needed to point that out. All of your other character adjustments were spot on, truly. *gets off soapbox* -
Late Photo TR: Michigan's Adventure 7-6-08

Thunderhawk wasn't rough at all. A little bumpy, but nothing that really stood out to me. ST was a fun ride as well (I went the last week of July), and Wolverine Wildcat was a blast in the front. As for the Kettle Corn, well, that's pretty much amazing. -
Mantis is really strange in that it is glass smooth in the front, and then it just gets crazy bad by the time you reach the back. Having ridden both the front and the back within 5 minutes of each other, I can say that the best idea is to ride in the front, where it is actually a really fun ride.

The note also confirms that it is indeed a woman and not a man who is running the show. -
Saw Mamma Mia (the show, not the movie) and it was a lot of fun!

I believe Screamscape has been saying Intamin the whole time. They do have an aquatrax train that looks like a jet ski. -

Is it really smart to put your phone number so easily available over the internet? Other than that, great TR. It's always nice to see photos of Chimelong. -

I must say, Mantis is the strangest ride at CP. Glass smooth in the front, total suckage everywhere else. MF is excellent in the back and that's about it (first drop is just awesome). I find magnum and it's triangle hills to just be painful. Blue Streak in the back KILLED. I dunno, it just seems like CP is very bland. Still a fun park, but nothing spectacular. Maverick is esaily the best. -

Interesting. I felt the complete opposite about Nitro and Apollo's Chariot. When I rode Nitro it was just as forceless as Raging Bull (except the helix, but having been on Goliath at SFMM, the helix was still nothing memorable). All of it's air was floater, whereas most of Apollo's Chariot's air was ejector. Excellent tr, I agree completely about how gorgeous the park is. -
^The point is that KI let this go for six weeks. They should have been in full control over the situation from day one, providing all that they had promised. The ONLY reason the problem is now being addressed is because it was made public. That is absolutely pathetic on the part of KI and Cedar Fair.
