  1. I got in to NYU for Film/Television production!
  2. ^And perhaps so that they do not slow the trains as much.
  3. ^Death Eaters. My guess is that the ride is a compilation of the exciting scenes from the books, thereby taking the rider through all of them while skipping the bits that would make a boring ride. Which means: [spoilerS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK 7] That could be the forest scene in which Harry "dies" Or perhaps a mutated version of Voldemort's rebirth. Those are the only two times I can think of him and the Death Eaters in an outside setting.
  4. If Cedar Fair buys it, I think Michigan Adventure is the park with the most need for a unique coaster.
  5. I had a blast on that over the summer. It flies when you ride with two people! The alpine slides next to it are a lot of fun as well. However, best activity in Park City is the bobsled run at the Olympic center. Craziest thing ever.
  6. ^I enjoyed it till it reached the transition where you slowed the tempo of the lyrics down. It was awkward and didn't fit the tone of the song well.
  7. ^8 riders per car, multiple cars per train doesn't seem that bad to me. Sort of like X but much easier to load/unload.
  8. Here's my list, in no particular order: In Theatres: Spring Awakening (one of my absolute favorite shows ever) Avenue Q Dirty Rotten Scoundrels 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee The Phantom of the Opera Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat RENT Wicked Sweeney Todd (the revival, which wasn't that stellar) Mamma Mia Spamalot Camelot (Terrible show) Hairspray Lion King Gypsy The King and I Grease In High Schools: Beauty and the Beast Little Shop of Horrors Willy Wonka Funny Girl and I'm sure there are a few others Shows I've Been in: Footloose Wonderland On The Town and I'm going to be in The Wiz later this year Shows I Want to See: The Last 5 Years Songs for a New World Les Mis In The Heights Passing Strange The Drowsy Chaperone Finding Nemo (At Animal Kingdom) Into The Woods See What I Wanna See and I'm sure there are more
  9. Finished the rough draft of a play I'm working on!
  10. Today was a relaxing day, which was nice.
  11. Having a relaxing weekend for once. From now until christmas it will pretty much be nonstop.
  12. I really don't get the complaints. If a coaster is one of the best in the world, will fire and fog take away from that? No, it won't. You don't hear anyone saying that the fire on X really detracted from the ride, do you? And new trains? Honestly, Six Flags is giving this ride love and people are complaining? I don't understand.
  13. ^It could add some serious foot-choppers. Plus the whole ride would have a very interesting tunnel effect. I like the idea, I just feel like pre-fab is the only way it could be executed well.
  14. It's interesting that Universal (producer of Wicked and probable studio to produce the film) has chosen to ignore that story for Path of the Wicked. Not that I mind, because a twisted Oz is always a fun oz, but I would have thought that they could use the sequels to Wizard of Oz (book) as inspiration, as those are far more in tune with the dark aspect of Oz. Still, everything looks wonderful.
  15. Seniors 09! Rock the boat! Should be a sweet year. I start next Tuesday.
  16. ^It added enough to the discussion that you had to reply to it. Back on topic, I can't wait to see what happens next with the good doctor.
  17. Yes, but you'll be in the drop longer. But the airtime won't be there. It'll just be a drop. The lift design also looks simple enough to not really have any malfunctions. It could very easily just be a cable lift that goes two ways.
  18. The only thing that I see wrong with this is the 45 degree drop. Seems to lack any sort of steepness.
