There is a hotel resort in Park City that has an alpine slide and coaster. You can find it here

I love the one in Park City. I rode it a few times because it was right next to my hotel, and it was a ton of fun. The twin alpine slides were also a treat.

This is where I would normally agree, but with this particular ride, there really wasn't any sort of fail-safe in place to account for employees not paying attention. There should have been some way to prevent the rider from being dropped before the net was in place. Which really surprised me when I read that the ride didn't have a fail-safe.

I think this is a great addition to the park! The waterpark needs an expansion like this, and it will certainly be a big draw for families. And as someone who lives by the park, there is a huge difference between a waterpark and the beach, and I love them both for very different reasons. Waterslides are the bomb.com and I'd be sad if there wasn't a waterpark near by.

Just a quick thing - Transformers is listed for just Singapore in this thread. It links to the Transformers thread which is for both USH and USS, so I don't know if you'd just want to add it to the USA section in this thread or something like that. Not a big deal, but the one thing I noticed missing. Other than that, this is a really fantastic thread! I'd forgotten about a lot of these, so it was nice to go back and check on the progress the rides are making. Thanks for putting this together!

I'm going to assume it won't be anything big, but at some point I think a ZacSpin would be a fantastic addition to the park.

I'm sure they're just asking questions to stir up interest. The ride, whatever it may be, has already been designed, finalized, and some form of construction has probably begun. But I love how interactive they're making it. Really clever on Hershey's part.

It's either going to be GCI or Intamin. With Cedar Point's obsession with Intamin, and the fact that their wooden coasters are a lot more reliable than their steel ones, I think there's a chance it could be from them. I hope so, as all of the Intamin woodies are absolutely insane.

It's a step up form MM and it' temporary. Complaining about an artist's impression of the ride before any of it has changed seems kind of odd. Wait and see before you say that SIx Flags did it better, because that's a gross exaggeration.

^Friday was a blackout day, so expect tomorrow to be far MORE crowded because this is (like you said) one of the few chances for people with APs to see the show during the summer. Even if you don't get a ticket, you can still see the show fairly well, according to people who've done both. I don't know where you'd want to stand, but ask around. I'm sure someone knows.

I love the concept of the show, and I think visually it is very striking, but I think it'll be even cooler when Disney starts rolling out holiday shows in the lagoon, with an actual plot. Still, I think this is a fantastic addition to DCA and certainly something that will work well in the long term.

If it were Twilight themed, then you'd have to be married before you could ride the rides.

It's a shame they aren't using Kuka, especially after the unbelievably positive response HP has gotten. A transformers ride with Kuka arms seems like a match made in heaven. Then again, I see the ride working really well with either ride system. I'm just really hoping for an army of giant transformers animatronics.

The bartenders can sell you shots to go with it, they just aren't allowed to pour them into the butterbeers themselves.

The use of Fastpass also eliminates people who saw the first show staying put in Paradise Park for the second. I think it's about as fair of a system as it will get for WoC, especially with all the AP's that are going to descend on the park.

I really feel like this half of the season has failed in creating any sort of meaningful character development. To me, the weekly "assignments" have really just been a bad excuse for the writers to focus on a genre of music or a particular theme. What I liked about the first half of the season was that the characters learned more about themselves without necessarily having a weekly theme. The flow of the story was a lot more natural rather than this odd grouping that has been happening in the second half. Also, there has been almost zero focus on Regionals, which is bizarre because so much emphasis was placed on districts. All in all, I miss the writing style of the first half of the season. If season 2 is more of what we've been seeing recently, I'm going to be very disappointed.

^Ride reviews seems like a fantastic idea for an eventual addition to the TPR Index. I certainly think it would be helpful for people planning park trips. I think the one problem is finding reviews that aren't biased or fan-boyish. But oh mylanta the KD thread is a mess right now.
