  1. I'm going to make a prediction on this. Fabbri is located in northern Italy and there are no currently operating coasters in the US from them (there is a SBNO spinning mouse at Castle Amusement Park). This model from Fabbri I think fits. The stats say 65 feet tall, but we all know parks will round up and coasters can be built taller. Project One Coaster 58x26
  2. Xcelerator & MR are down for unforeseen circumstances...like waiting on parts or something along that nature. The other rides were scheduled well in advance for annual maintenance
  3. I bought a power bank and can charge my phone up to 2 times on it if needed. I haven't used it at a park yet, but it's small enough to fit in a zippered pocket with my phone. I know it will come in handy when we take our 3-4 park trip in June.
  4. ^^, ^^^ & ^^^ That person on FB is still set on believing Dragon Challenge is coming there to replace T3 based on a message reply from the park....lol (I originally shared it on this page: themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=51557&start=9000 They posted it yet again a couple days ago in the same group to say that's why the announcement was delayed & markers near T3. He won't listen to reason and thinks the reply K gave was proof they are doing it, when clearly it was an average PR response they give everyone.
  5. I think the only ones who know the answer for sure won't be on these board Oh you can bet they definitely are. They may just not post about such things.
  6. ^When was it ever confirmed that the launch speed had changed. The park has stated that it hasn't.
  7. I personally just don't do Halloween...in any capacity (and no, 'm not a bible-thumping whatever either). It does not appeal to me. That's all I'll say about that part. Fortunately if I want to go to the parks in FL near me, I can just go during the day time to enjoy my favorite rides & attractions during that time. This is rare anyway due to work schedules and everything else going on. Christmas time is different since we're off the two weeks around Christmas & New Years.
  8. I believe it's waiting for parts. It's been closed for quite some time.
  9. Please don't bother this man or the park with this. They aren't going to change anything based on an enthusiasts requests. He may do the designing, but the park has the final say on what they are willing to pay for. I'm sure if the park wanted it longer, they would have asked for it.
  10. SpinCycle reaches 104 feet high...not 191. www.silverwoodthemepark.com/rides/spincycle.php https://www.sbfrides.com/en/product/791/no-code/MAXI-DANCE-PARTY-360-33Mt-.html 31.6 meters= 103.67 feet which they round to 104.
  11. I doubt it since Great America already has Goliath RMC Viper would be steel tho...Goliath is wood...and would still be completely different rides. Could happen one day...maybe not. Something to think about.
  12. Dorney is gettin a nice new restaurant in Wildwater Kingdom...lol Their Tourbillon is a scrambler...
  13. "World's Largest Loop Coaster" Either the name is staying as is so they can force people to believe it's a coaster. Perhaps they'll get creative and do a social media contest to decide the name.
  14. Considering the current lazy river appears to be the smallest/shortest I've seen in a park this size, it looks like a great addition with all the added features. I'm sure it will help with capacity come next summer.
  15. Busch Gardens Tampa: Congo River Rapids- I just don't like getting drenched and then walk around...dryers available or not. I may eventually ride it, but I hadn't in the 10 years I've been going so it may never happen...lol Phoenix- I actually don't mind going upside down, and used to ride Frenzoid @ Carowinds when I was in my late teens/early 20s. I hadn't ridden Phoenix yet and likely won't as I don't like the pressure these type rides put on my chest being held upside down. Ubanga Banga Bumper Cars- I don't want the headache. Rides in Sesame Street, Jungala, Gwazi Gliders and small kiddie rides in Pantopia- I'm a bit too old/big for most. I will ride Air Grover if I have my niece or nephews with me when I go (even though I rode it alone when it first opened for the credit...lol). SeaWorld Orlando: Rides in Shamu's Happy Harbor- Same reason as Sesame Street @ BGT above. I will ride Shamu's Express if I have my niece or nephews with me (and as above I rode it alone the first time for the credit back in 2010...lol)
  16. ^I thought it kind of odd that KD went to weekend operation before Labor Day. The area schools start back Sept. 5th. It also appears that Celtic Fyre is only showing on weekends starting this week (of course next week they start weekend only ops anyway).
  17. I have a few favorites (all of which have been replaced/revamped): Emerald Beat @ Busch Gardens Williamsburg Blue Horizons @ SeaWorld Orlando Best Night Time Show: Ignite @ SeaWorld Orlando My absolute favorite- Katonga @ Busch Gardens Tampa
  18. #01: Scooby Doo/Woodstock Express (Carowinds) #25: Dahlonega Mine Train #50: Goliath (SFOG) #75: Freedom Flyer (Fun Spot Orlando) #82: Tasmanian Tiger I'll get at least 3 more this year and 100 will come on my visit to CP next year. I will try to let that be Steel Vengeance...if I can hold out and ride the others first...lol
  19. ^FYI: Most parks have social media personnel who check out forums that have a decent following (not just TPR). Some even join and post regularly....even higher ups than them.
  20. I got 17 out of 100 from the original list posted. This will get a little better next year when I visit CP & KI. The 2nd list? only 10. I agree that list really didn't make much sense with multiple coasters that probably half the people (if not majority) on this site have not had the chance to get to because they are overseas.
  21. If they were going to demolish Georgia Cyclone, they would/could have already started. School has been back in session since the beginning of August and the park has been weekend only operation since. Those teaser videos pretty much have shows what' been added the past several years. I'm pretty confident there will be {RMC GC] next year. Announcement is Thursday so we'll see.
  22. um....I posted this on the last page... While it may have been in a sarcastic tone, I still posted it.
  23. Thunder Rapids at SFFT has this model: Rocketblast. 3-Person rafts have a 540 pph capacity. 4-person rafts have a 720 pph capacity.
  24. Water park addition and a flat? What is this place...Great Adventure or Magic Mountain? King Chaos is being removed at SF Great America...there's your flat ride...lol
