Snoopy's Space Race is being removed. Pig Pen's Dust Buggies is taking it's place. Flying Ace Aerial Chase is going to be rethemed. (Confirmed by the park on Facebook) Peanuts Showplace is not going anywhere. (It's in the Rendering)

^Planet Snoopy will be no more next year. The entire area will be Camp Snoopy. [edited] I read your post incorrectly. You meant as in with other Cedar Fair parks. Who knows. They just expanded KD's last year so if they were on a trend to change, then they would have done it there last year. CP has both in their park.

It was put in 2 years before HFE purchased the park. It was removed in 2011( or prior) and is now at Fun Spot Orlando where it opened in 2013.

How do you know? Kings Dominion opens at least a month before CP does. This year KD opened March 25th and CP on May 6th. So as long as it opens with the park (and there shouldn't be any reason it won't), it will open first.

^That work is going to take over a year. You can expect those additions for 2019.

Kings Dominion offered it last year. Also many, if not most of the Cedar Fair parks are doing it this year. Also for the past SEVERAL years, SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks have been doing it as well.

There's still hope...Kings Island isn't announcing today so you never know. That trash can or bench may show up just yet.

Depending on the significance of the ride, they may not.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they put them in Yo-Yo's spot.

King's Island @kingsislandpr is live on Instagram walking through Dinosaurs Alive and they have said the announcement date will be announced later. So looks like we'll be waiting a bit for it.

I could have sworn in the announcement he said that was the track in the testing... Then again maybe I was just hearing things.

^, ^^ & ^^^Perhaps Knott's is getting the first it's kind and that's maybe why they have been hush hush about it in comparison. They are also the last one to announce in the evening with a huge event. It was already quite obvious what CP & KD were getting. CGA is just basically doing the normal thing with a wall of coasters built at the park as CP has done with some subtle other hints along the way. Knott's basically is in your face that something is coming with little to no teasing...because that's how they chose to do it. As far as CF worrying about what SFMM is doing? Considering Knott's pulls about the same amount in attendance (if not more) with a much smaller park and less coasters should tell you something.

Carowinds has been giving a hint everyday since Thursday. Sure it's not a coaster, but they also have dropped hints. Moving Tilter to another area that has more mild rides would make sense if they are putting a more thrilling flat in that spot.

^ Of course there is enough room. They could even use some of the parking lot behind it if needed for whatever it is. I think it's a Top Scan personally. On a side note... Even though I highly doubt it will happen, but there is actually enough space for Knott's Boomerang if they use the parking lot behind there. The width at the cobra roll is 92' according to Google maps....the same space between Steel Venom's queue and Ripord's fence.

Teaser # 6: Charlie Brown gives Snoopy a new outfit...a camping outfit. So perhaps the area will be rethemed to Camp Snoopy or a section of Planet Snoopy will be themed as such. Carowinds once had it like that (a mini area within a larger area) before Paramount turned the whole section to Nickelodeon Central.

^If it is, they will mostly be there to see Dolly...not stand in line for coasters.

^For a private event. They have them almost every year around that time. This year it's the 9th, 10 & 16th.

If you're a season pass member the event is included. If not it's $10 plus regular admission. in either circumstance you still have to register for an invite.
