Once opening weekend occurs they will be open all weekends after that. I have never known the park to open for the season and then skip weekend(s) after that unless, of course the weather man decides to interfere. The park will release the 2019 schedule soon. Since today was the last operating day of the 2018 season, it will generally take a few weeks to reset everything for the upcoming season. If you visit in March, let me know and maybe we can meet up! Yeah - unless there is a freak snowstorm or monsoon - they'll be open every weekend until Spring Break (when they open all week.) It's my home park and a great place- enjoy your visit! David

Bring warm clothes - we went last year for Smoky Mountain Christmas and it got pretty chilly (we were thankful for the coats.) Cinnamon bread line gets huge in the evening - just letting you know. Have fun and definitely try to get to Gatlinburg for the mountain coasters and stuff while you are there. David

I'm really enjoying this report! I never knew about the caves in the area. Next time we head up there (and hopefully stay in a cottage,) we'll definitely go check it out. David

I absolutely love the cabin and it COMPLETELY fits in with the overall "homey" feel of Knoebels. They could have won some of the decor at the Fascination Parlor I didn't even know cabins were an option there so I have learned something new today. David

I feel like the only people that should be touching Lightning Racer are the people at Great Coasters and / or Skyline. Even though it isn't the very best set of coasters in the world, it is an absolute masterclass of design and I feel like a Rocky Mountain renovation would ruin what makes it special. This!!! I couldn't agree more. And I've often wondered about the whole Skyrush being too intense, blah blah blah thing. Would the people that are always clamoring for a Megalite feel the same way about that if one were built here?? David

Looks like an awesome day! Glad to see you guys are having fun at my home park! I, also, loved Twisted Cyclone and think that Mindbender is still amazing after all it's years of operation. It is just as fierce as it was when it first opened.

Love this, as always. I, too, am of the Kumba is AMAZING school. That zero gee roll in the magic seat is just bliss. I also love that little hump headed into the Cobra Roll. I don't know why, but it makes me happy.

Wow - this looks absolutely nuts. Like, lets think of every single way we can invert the train, then do it! Although not being a sports person, a lot of the theming is lost on me, I'm super glad for Kennywood for the great addition!
