  1. Or, you know, it could have been designed with the heavier trains in mind. Maybe that's just me though. The trains look really nice and it'll be great to actually see this all in person hopefully later this year.
  2. HAHAHAHAHAHA YES! Thank you Title Fairy!
  3. QFT! Thanks for posting this, it brought back some great memories of me spending way too much time in Town Hall in the back of the park looking at all the old stuff they had in there.
  4. Fixed And you know what Title Fairy? I would like to see a new title for myself, if you don't mind.
  5. Zombies are brutal, especially the ones from the Dragon Bar! I feel for you Divv.
  6. It's either Your Season pass OR a valid state issued ID card, it doesn't have to be both. The prices are also total for the party.
  7. HAHAHAHAHA My trip to vegas looked very similar to that with a lot more shiny lights and people around.
  8. Why is it a secret. Why won't you just tell us!?!
  9. It's all about the Cookie Monster! When does he get his own ride? HAHAHA Great TR Chuck, looks like a fun area. I guess I'm a bad enthusiast as I didn't even know it would have a coaster, but how does it differ from Shamu Express in Orlando?
  10. I have two of those Vinylmation mouses. The EPCOT one (generalization from someone on the left coast) and the monorail one. They're cute but damn expensive ($10 each) and you don't know which of the 12 in the series you get until after you pay for it and can open it up. I still want the Yeti, Haunted Mansion, and Kermit ones. Awesome TR so far!
  11. lol Man of all the Drive-in's around here (6 within a 100 mile radius according to drive-ins.com), not one of them have rides. Of course I only usually go to two or three of them regularly, so I'm not sure if any of them actually do! That's a cool idea though, and a few credits for Montana!
  12. Man I love that CBS is streaming full episodes this season on their website. Did they do this for any other season? I missed quite a few seasons because of work (and no, no TIVO unless you want to buy me one)
  13. I think I'm going to drop down to a Deluxe or even possibly a SoCal for those years as I don't like what concept art I've seen of DCA's new turnstyles (basically Disney's Hollywood Studio's). And the plan they have in place for when they go in. Yikes good luck to Disney.
  14. Lucky enough I'll be in Las Vegas (middle of the strip mostly We'll see if I head down to that end of the strip) this coming weekend so I kinda hope it's open. I'm not sure if I'll ride it as I've ridden it many many times and while fun, it's not amazing, and This is a "budget" trip for me lol. thanks you MOb bosses for free booze at the casino!
  15. I am a passholder and I have to agree with Robb. Empty cement pit was kinda distracting when they first drained it, but I think what makes it worse now is the construction walls in the little hub bewteen Bountiful valley Farms, San Fransisco, and Paradise Pier. It kinda felt like I was in a Haunt Maze with how little space there was. And again, even if you could overlook the empty lake on the North side by just looking up to California Screamin' (and an under construction SunWheel) looking at it from the other side gives you the Grand Californian expansion rising over the lagoon.
  16. It also doesn't help with the addition of the DVC wing onto the Grand Californian as it's also highly visible from the park (the whole black tarp in the distance in the backgroun dof those pics).
  17. ^ This is true, but again, this is only effecting the back half of the park (I would say 35% maybe 40% of the park) It's still bad, but again the only ride that's closed right now is the Sun Wheel. I totally agree that it looks really bad from a themeing standpoint, but Mainstreet on Disneyland has been under some pretty heavy construction as well. I just don't think what they are doing right now warrents shutting down the whole park. Maybe it is me just being more "in the know" then a regular joe to know not to go to Disneyland and not expect some sort of construction during the begining of the year, pass or no pass.
  18. And Condor Flats, and The whole Grizzly Peak area until you get to the San Fransisco area right in front of the dried up lake. So basically the whole front half of the park is as it was. You make it seem to be far worse then it actually is. I think of this as the same as when they drain The Rivers of America, it just all looks bad from a wide area (DCA's just happens to be a bit larger) All that said, I just got back from there and man that one walkway Greg posted was pretty bad. I definitely don't think the construction is bad enough to shut down the whole park as the only ride down actually down is the Sun Wheel.
  19. AHAHA this PTR has made my day. Thank you for being brave enough to do it, and even braver to post it!
  20. Most companies will hire out to those over 21 (sometimes 18) and under 25 but with an extra per day fee added (and other restrictions may apply see dealer for information lol)
  21. It's actually not that bad, it's on a charter bus when I used it about a year ago. Of course I got really drunk the night before and was up extremely early the next morning (my avatar!) so I slept the whole way there and back. I also got it from the Universal Studios bus parking lot right next to the parking structure. It was the first stop to be picked up and had my choice of seats, and it let me go to Citywalk when we got back.
  22. My guess would be slowing down the drive tires.
  23. Did you miss this part? (Emphasis mine.) They have a good sound and with good producers, I think they could really make it, but I don't want to see them eliminated cause a lot of our out of country TPR peeps are voting. That said, they have my vote.
