While I don't agree with the complete vilification of the cameraman, I definitely don't think it was something stupid as "oh gee that's not regular magic." Maybe it was for profit, maybe he thought getting it on film would help in the aftermath with the investigation, point is we don't know why he did, just that he did. I feel bad for the victim, his family and friends; my thoughts are with them all.

^^Irfanview it's very easy to use, FREE, and a very small but powerful program that let's you edit and resize pictures. If you want to resize multiple pictures at once, I know there's a image resizer Powertoy for Windows XP or this clone for Windows Vista, or it's available using Google's Picasa that's available for Windows and Mac (Mac and Linux dowload link at the bottom of the page). And remember, Quality over Quantity!!

When you reply add them in the order you want them to show up in. (The first pictrure you upload will be on top and the last picture you upload will be on the bottom) what causes the confusion is if you preview your post it'll show the opposite (when you preview it'll show the first picture you up load on the bottom and the last picture you uploaded on top) but when you actually hit submit, the order of the pictures will show up in the order that you uploaded them. Basicslly ignore what you see in the preview.

Dang I would love to see this show, but I'm not paying to get into that park until after Transformers opens, or if they somehow find a new home for Bill and Ted and run this during HHN, but it looks like an excellent quality production. And as sucky as Spider man Rocks was, it had Eden Espinosa in it so this may lead to another person's fame down the road lol.

I haven't read anything that says it's the same trackless system from Pooh in Tokyo. I'm wondering if it'll be the same or if it'll be something along the lines of somethign similar to the trackless system's Sally uses. Eiter way, very intresting ride concepts that hopefully I'll get to experience one day.

Holy crap that's amazing stuff right there Soren! Dubai is definitely on my list of places to see before I die, even if most of the super crazy stuff isn't built What they have already is nuts! Can't wait to see more TR's from places I'll probably never get to, and safe travels. -
TPR's Termination Day! Sunday, June 28th, 2009

hahaha after not sleeping for 40 hours, I have to say I had one of the best times at this event! I love GCI coasters, and this is no exception easily the best woodie (roller coaster) in California. And it's only btter at night. My favorite part is sitting toward the front, getting blinded by the fire (cause you know you look) and that little dip coming from nowhere. A huge thank you to Robb, Elissa, and all of SFMM managment and staff for putting on such an awesome event for us all! My only gripe would have been the little hiccup right at ten , but extending the ERT for us more then made up for it (that and running up the back stairs instead of all the way around and through the pre-shows for even more rides was awesome) and of course the party was awesome as always, great people and fun. I hope some of you enjoyed my TPR Trivia answers! -

weather.com says a high of 92, either way it'll still be hot! Where's the water ride ERT? -
I'm pretty sure they'll pull the SAW theme off like last year where Freddy was the main star, but still had all the New Line mazes uneffected with Freddy. I'm also pretty sure that both events will feature a Wolfman house for promotion of the movie (last year the tram tour had footage from the movie, and it looked decent) but Hollywood has their semi-permanent House of Horrors to play with which has most of the Universal monsters already, including the Wolfman. It should be intresting to see what they do.

I agree, but MJ's death was much more unexpected then Farrah's (plus MJ will get way more ratings) who has unfortunately been battling cancer for the last three years. Either way it's such a shame to lose people these ways.

^^^While that is true, I still would have liked a little more distance between using the movie theme again (again still looking forward to possibly experiencing both HHN's this year) but that has no effect on my excitment for both events really. I do like the fact that they are using there own licensed characters, aside from the SAW franchise it seems to be all universal characters, which allows them much more freedom then when a separate studio is involved. And I have a sneaky suspicion this is mostly to capitalize on the fact that Universal is releasing Wolfman this November with the hope of "revamping" most of their classic horror icons in new movies if this event and the movie prove to be popular.

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread
RCFreak replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Isn't that the ENTIRE point of running an investigation? There are obviously answers you want that you won't get until the ongoing investigation is complete. And to me it just sounds like you're waiting for the details so you can negativly judge the injured woman. This may or may not be true, I don't care, but that's all I'm getting from your posts. I'll wait for the full story. -
Future looks bleak for Terra MÃtica
RCFreak replied to Airtime&Gravity's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
NOOOOOOO not El laberinto del Minotauro! lol That was one freaking awesome Sally Shooter. I would be sad if this park did end up going under, but when we were at the park in 2007 it really didn't seem that busy either. it's a really u nique park that was pretty well themed and it would be a shame to lose all the rides. -
it worked for me, I did get the two green buttons first though (in both Opera and Firefox), the one on the left is a bandwith tester to determine the quality of video it will stream and the one on the right is to play the video. You guys got mad press this year on your trips though, I'm sure that'll get you guys a lot of great new people visiting the site!

If you're staying on point, they do have the beach and have parasailing, jetskis and kayaks are available to rent. If you're into haunted houses at all, Sandusky has a haunted house that is pretty good and open year round. Ghostly Manor is actully inside of a skating rink if your family is into that too. There's also a drive through safari not too far from the park as well. http://www.africansafariwildlifepark.com/ or the Lagoon Deer Park is close by as well. http://www.sanduskyfunspots.com/deerpark/ so there's wildlife stff to go look at. There's a really cheesy thing called Mystery Hill that has a walking trail with bunch of large plastic dinosuars, a "mystery house" (the ones that are at a very odd angle leading to disorientation and fun optical illusions) and a really bad mini golf course. And of course there are (at least?) five different indoor water parks in the Sandusky area alone (some of which require you to stay at that hotel, but it's an option of places to stay) So yeah plenty to do around the area, but it's all tourist trap type of things, and a lot of them are not the best quality there is.
