Good thing the trains still look funky -
It's amazing how inconsistent a park can be even if it's run by different operators. this is useful info anyway, now I know not to stop there on my Euroadtrip, shame. And although I'd like to go on a lapbar boomerang I can do that at Walibi Rhone-alpes on the way. (They also have a Gravity Group woodie so) Seems like this is really a park you go to mainly if you live in the area and just think "hey i feel like riding a few rides today"

Phantasialand Discussion Thread
Rill'o'beily replied to roeterich's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Well, I think I theorized this when Klugheim was being built (or it was about energylandia), but it is simply possible that Phantasialand just puts all their extra profits into developing new stuff, instead of keeping it or dealing it around for execs. For example my home park Linnanmäki has roughly something over 1 million yearly guests (no super accurate info available) and they're able to donate over 4 million euros (roughly 4.5 million $) to charity annually, even after new improvements which means easily parks with more guests have lots of spare money (consider how much Merlin lost daily when Smiler was closed yet they survived) -

Not getting a ride from S&S-Sansei probably helps -
Most intense brake run?
Rill'o'beily replied to Mikxy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is intense in a bad way but the one existing E-Motion coaster, Tulireki at Linnanmäki has absolutely terrible brakes, they just go on so quick that you fly stomach first towards the restraint -
CAD Ride Models

Ooh nice! Did you use the "no-planks" version of the vekoma mine train track to imitate the chance track? It really is nice how you can customize the trackstyle so much. -

If they're in the same resort under the same tickets I don't really see why their attendance should be counted separately -

Wait is theres two Disney parks in Europe? I'm confused? -
Sure it would be nice to be hopeful and imagine they've learned their mistakes but considering they're basically the biggest ride maker at the moment they probably don't need to worry about that when people will buy their rides in bundles anyway, they made volares for years on years and never did they improve on the roughness and the new ones are just as bad as the old ones.

Should observation towers make a comeback?
Rill'o'beily replied to Samuel's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For this reason and in general, I think flying islands should be more popular. They serve the same purpose as observation towers (although dont go as high up and take more space) however they look much more imposing and attractive, plus they're open air and can be much more decorative. -

I've generally assumed when the price of a ride is listed it includes just the ride unless exclusively specified that it includes the whole package -

There just better be roofs above the seats cause no-one wants the gravel and dirt to fall on their hair from the person above them -

If the hardware and the team assembling it cost the same, what is there left to cost less besides theming (which doesn't count in the cost anyway)? Unless the track and trains were also made in poland I don't see how the wages there affect the cost of the ride but maybe I'm just not getting what you're saying. (if im just not understanding something blatantly obvious i'd just like to defend myself by saying this is my 20th hour awake) -
